They should be ashamed of themselves.

On Monday night, the Dolphins took the field in front of a national audience. People across the country were ready for some football. The Eagles were visiting Pro-Player Stadium, where they have never won in 5 tries. So were their fans.

We have all seen it on TV. The people that booed Santa Claus. The same people that BOO their own team each week. That "boo" Donovan McNabb if he falls down. The same fans that have a jail in their home stadium. Now, we know why. You might think it's over-exaggerated by the media. Until you experience it, you have no idea.

The fans of the Philadelphia Eagles are the most classless, worthless bunch of football scum I have ever come across in my life as a fan. I've been to Jets' games, Raiders' games, Bills' games…nothing can even compare to the audacity and vulgarity exhibited by the Philly faithful.

The fact that the Eagles were seemingly able to bring fans on the team charter probably helped their cause. Reports claim that there were in excess of 20,000 screaming green morons on Monday night. That's nearly one-quarter of the stadium. Eagles fans. In town to spread their holiday jeers.

Walking into the stadium on Monday night, we were harassed by Philly-ites in transit to the stadium gates. More heckling once inside, and yet more in the concourse. There was an aura of electricity in the air as the teams took the field. During the pre-game ceremonies, the Eagles fans proceeded to BOO the priest giving the invocation, as well as calling Dolphins President, Eddie Jones, "ASS-HOLE, ASS-HOLE…" while he donated money to charity. There were at least 6 fist-fights in my three-section block during the game. Its football, people! Watch the game!

Walking out of the stadium was obviously no fun either. Its one thing to be happy when your team wins a big national game on the road, but there's no need to be a dick about it. The Eagles fans heckled everyone, from the beer vendor to "Goldie" Goldstien, to Dave Wannstedt. Even we were told that we sucked (we, ourselves, not the team) by an Eagles fan. Over and over and over.

One person, though, came over to me and said "Good game, we're not all assholes" and shook my hand. There is still a glimmer of hope for the fans of Philly. The majority of the Eagles' contingent were seriously lacking in the brotherly love department.

In all my seasons of going to Dolphins' games, I have never seen it that bad. I have never seen a more class-less, vulgar, belligerent group of jack-asses in my entire life. I pity you, Philly Fin Fan. You have to deal with them all year long.

At least now, I'm better prepared to deal with the Jets' fans. They are kindergarten teachers by comparison.
