And the snow plow operator guy.  Let's not forget that jackass!
K, I'm gonna hijack his hijack, but I was reading about that game somewhere the other day (think is was Sports Illustrated) and they were saying that what we all forget about this is that Miami had a shot at tieing the game with a FG try late in the game and the snow crew was all set to go out on the field and clear a path for the Dolphins kicker and Shula waved them off and went for it on 4th down and they didn't make it.  Funny, I don't remember that at all.  Anyone else remember that?  Guess Shula wanted to beat them without a snowplow. LOL

Bill Russell should absolutely be on the Boston Mt. Rushmore.  He should be its centerpiece.  Gottan be Larry, Russell, Orr, and...Brady I guess?

No Ted Williams?  Not one Red Soxes player in a city that is baseball first?

LOL.  The snow plow is on display in the Patriots Hall of Fame.

So the operator was willing to clear a path for both teams kickers, not just the home team?  I had not heard that.  If true it certainly makes the popular story about that game a whole lot less sinister.

That's what the article said.  I honestly don't remember that happening and I was watching that game, but it's funny sometimes about what you do and don't remember. Smiley

I'm sure the snow plow operator pretty much felt obligated to do it after he did it for the Patriots.  I can just see Shula on the sidelines saying "Screw the snowplow, WE ARE GOING FOR IT!".

Crap.  Forgot the Splinter.  Yeah, he DEFINITELY needs to be there.

So...Russell / Bird / Williams / Orr?

Sorry, Tommy Boy...
