Title: Movie Review: Click (2006)
Post by: Brian Fein on June 28, 2006, 11:16:26 pm
Movie: Click

Year: 2006

Genre: Comedy

Starring: Adam Sandler, Christopher Walken, and a ton of hot chicks.

Premise: A man devoted to his job is given special powers through the gift of a remote control.

Rating: B

Let me tell you, this movie was not what I expected.  Its not knee-slapping comedy like we're used to seeing from Sandler.  This movie was very well done, and delivered a valuable message.  A mini-plot-twist near the end completed this roller-coaster ride.

Sandler is very believable in this role.  While it has some funny parts, you can see he is maturing in his movie projects.  Don't miss this one cause you hated Happy Gilmore, cause its not that kind of movie.  Christopher Walken, as usual, was brilliant in his role, and was the perfect person to fill this part.

Lying somewhere between Spanglish and Billy Madison, this movie was well worth the $7 I paid to see it (they actually believed I was a student - suckers!).  I'd recommend this movie, and will likely buy the DVD when it comes out.

Sweet. I can't wait to see it. I love Sandler movies.

There was a part of this movie that I had tears streaming down my face - let's just say that Sandler puts a little something into his bosses lunch menu.

I thought this movie was great.  I would have given it an "A."

I wrote this review right after I saw it.  I had mixed feelings about it at the time, but after a coupla days, in retrospect, I think it deserves an A as well.
