How does a non-moderator lock threads?

Just curious...

The way the board's software is set up, you have the power to lock/unlock threads you create.  Of course, if a mod locks the thread, that overrides that power. 

Back to the topic of the ROD....... I think it's gonna be Dave Wannstedt this time around.  I'm getting REALLY anxious to see. 

I voted Dave Wannadouche  Long time ago.   But if I had to put someone in the ROD immediately it would be Cam Camoron 

I wouldn't put him in immediately.  It's too soon.  It will take some time to see exactly how much damage he did to this team.  Considering he was only around for a year, he might not go in at all.

I find it so amazing that some people's lives seem to revolve around the ROD and when someone is going to go in.
Sheesh guys, relax. Does it really matter when the next "induction" is?

If we had ROD for posters, I think me, spongebob, nofish, and mygodwearsahoodie would be the first members inducted.

Why would cameron be the Nominee now. I thought the ROD was for players or coaches whos suckiness had crippled the team for a good number of years.

Which is obviously why Dave Wanstedt is really the only good candidate right now for the ROD. His teams underperformed, had really crappy drafting, his decision making was questionable, and really we are where we are now because of him.

how many draft picks are still on the team from the Wannstedt/Johnson era?

There's enough evidence in that one sentence to induct them both.

we have guys from those drafts on the team, but none that were drafted by us.

Do the right thing and induct Jimmy Johnson.

  Besides Jason Taylor?  The only guy left from the Wannstedt Drafts from 2000-2003 is S Yeremiah Bell.  That's it.

Don Reese and Randy Crowder ( Channing's father) deserve the ROD for the most heinous episode in Dolphin history, selling a pound of cocaine to an undercover officer. See the link below for the sordid details. While this happened 30 years ago, it is clearly ROD worthy in doctord's eyes.

Well, you young whippersnapper, this aged dolphin fan is simply nominating for ROD the players involved in what was the most despicable incident in dolphin history, and one that adversely affected the entire team for years. I'm not aware of any statute of limitations on the ROD.

Be that as it may, I recognize that more recent incidents (i.e. Wannstedt's reign) are more on the mind of the people on this website, and more likely to receive the shame of the ROD. Still, as the voice of ancient wisdom on this site, I like to bring up and share with the more youthful the good and the wretched of Dolphin history.

Why don't you do a similar write up for them and send it to Dave?

Or an even better idea- everyone chill out and relax about the next ROD inductee. Seriously, its Dave's and Jim's decision when someone gets inducted and who gets inducted. There is no set timeline or guidelines. Some people need to get a life and stop questioning this every month (or week, or day).
