Title: Cowboys Trade For Pacman
Post by: TonyB0D on April 23, 2008, 07:47:11 pm
just heard on ESPn a deal has been reached in principle - 4th rounder this year.  based on performance/behavioral clauses so that if he gets in trouble and doesn't see the field the boys can get their pick back

LMAO! Why would you even want a piece of shit like that?  To where you have to "behave" for your contract's sake...

Isn't he still suspended, and facing a lifetime ban? Why bother now? Why not wait until Goodell makes his ruling? I can't imagine that there would be a lot of other GM's competing for this thug.

just another reason why i am no longer a cowboys fan.only that idiot jerry jones would want a thug like pac man on his team.good luck with him staying out of trouble in dallas where there is a strip club on every corner.

If he's not reinstated, the Cowboys get the Titans' 4th rounder next year.

Trading a low round pick for a former first rounder.... based on the way this guy can play, it's worth the gamble.

Based on the way this guy could play...

He's been out of football for a while. He probably won't be the player he was. That's why I don't understand the desire to trade for him. He's got a lot of coulds attached to him...

Could he still play...
Could he stay out of trouble...
Could he even be reinstated...

...I don't see the reward for a team to deal with it.

I think he can still play..... if, and that's a big if, he can stay out of trouble.

In related news, the Dallas Cowboys have hired Jeffrey Dahmer as their public relations specialist.  Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on the potential risks:
"We know some people were discovered hacked up in zip lock bags in Jeff's freezer once before.  We also understand he used to drill holes in people's head and pour anti-freeze into their brains in efforts to turn them into sexual zombies.  Other than that, he's a great guy.  We think he's turned a corner."

So the Titans must be really confident that he will get reinstated

Wow they figured a way to bring Dahmer back from the dead....What a waste of technology...They should have brought back Marylin Monroe first....

I hate the Cowboys, but this is a great move for both teams.
A young, physical shut-down corner & game changer who is also an upgrade from Newman for only a *conditional* 4th rounder or two depending on playing time is a steal.

Dallas won't lose a single game this year, as long as all of their games are scheduled at 2 AM in the parking lot outside a strip club.

^^^ I'll be honest with ya, I came up with that gag for Dallas when Michael Irvin was playing. I just dusted it off for Pacman.

I can see it though, Cowboys-Giants outside the Cheetah Club. Right before the snap, Pacman makes it rain dollar bills, so NY can't see DeMarcus Ware blitzing. Ware t-bones Eli from the blindside and drives him face first into Strahan's Bentley.

...and the crowd goes wild!!

Pac man is NOT a shutdown corner.I've seen him get beat so many times because he is too short. He is a fair cover guy at best.Look at his highlight films.Almost all of his INT's are in zone coverage, when he is forced to play man,he gets beat every time.
