Said Mangini: “Having such a passion for ballroom dancing, like I do, I’ve watched some of [Dancing with the Stars] and [Jason Taylor] is pretty good. He’s impressive. I just thought the comment was funny. There are some Pat fans whose hate is too great to find the humor. There is a thread on a Pats board slamming Eric for the comment. My response was if, BB had said the same thing there would be three thread talking about how well he handled the mediots. The smartest thing I have ever seen written abouts sports is the following: “I don't like Dungy, and that's because he is the coach for the Colts. Period. Particularly when you watch the video of it and the expression (or lack there of) on his face.
I hope Jason sees it and realizes how rediculous this whole thing is. I am not sure if even saying you would want him on your team be tampering. I have heard coaches talk about how good players are on the opposing team and even say they wouldn't mind having said player on their team. If EM was to call up Taylor and say, "if you get cut you have a job with the Jets" that would be tampering. |
