CBS is having a mascot contest.  Our beloved TD has gotten past the first round, beating Fireman Ed of the Jets, and is on to TD the German Shepard, from the Browns.

fireman Ed isn't even a mascot, he's a fan.  and a dumbass one at that.  I hope his little bitch lifts him up on his shoulders and accidentally drops him off the side of the upper deck.  Oops.

i know, right?  how can he be in this competition?  he DID invent the J-E-T-S cheer tho.  and that's his brother who puts him on his shoulders, and they sit in like the first few rows off the field.

I hate that Motherfucker.  He is treated like Royalty in New York.  I live to see him disappointed.  My favorite moment was when the Jets were playing in the AFC championship Game and blew a half time lead.  The Camera went to Fireman Ed and his twisted face said it all. The only thing that keeps me going is that no matter how bad the Phins get the Jets are usually right on Parr or worse in the suckiness category.

Has anyone ever seen Ed at a Jets Dolphins game here in Miami? I've been to many and I can't remember ever seeing him on our turf.

I voted for TD The Dolphin of course but just look at the picture........Does that Dolphin really look more fierce then that German Shepherd?    ::)

I've seen him at EVERY dolphins' game in Miami.  He often sat near our section, but WAY up top in the bleeders.  That's why I made the comment about the upper deck..

That's alittle too much info..they have support groups for that type of thing... :D ;D

I don't condone this type of behavior at any games..........but I think if I spotted him and he didn't have any kids sitting near him I might have to chuck something his way.........

alot of people dont know this but the guy who wears the TD suit is actually very popular with the ladies, you just have to have a good gymnastics/dance background & have high charisma to be popular amongst females. If someone wants me to post the job requirements from the Dolphins site let me know

I've met Ed a couple times while covering the Pats.  He's actually a really nice man.

Fucking A. I'd love to shove my foot so far up his ass , you could scratch my big toe through his mouth. Nothing worse then going to your own stadium and hearing a Loud J-E-T-S **** **** ****! Loud and clear as if you were at Giants stadium.  Don't tell me the players don't hear it as well.

I can't believe that the NFL Network does not have the Dolphins-Jets rivalry in their top ten and Sports Illustrated has it ranked number 1 because of the hatred that the fans have for each other and the weird things that have happened since they started playing in 1966. I don't care what the record is, strange things happen during a Jets-Dolphins game.

Jet fans are really obnoxious but after reading other forums that aren't balanced, many Dolphin fans are catching up. The thing that I do admire about Jet fans is that the younger generation can tell you everything about the Jets history from their time as the New York Titans until now which is amazing. Many Dolphin fans can't get past 1984 or 1972.

Three years ago, all the NFL Mascots came to Denver and TD was the biggest hit of all. They interviewed TD on the morning news of course in Dolphin speak. He's beginning to become pretty popular in other parts of the country.

I would give him a high five for being such a awesome fan. I've never see him do anything derogatory or anything that wasn't good natured fun. It makes the game better when there are super-fans around the stadium.

Rooting for the Jets is as offensive as you can get.

Well said!The few times I've been to Dolphin Stadium the fans sit on their hands,and whenever we would yell or get excited about the game,the people around us would give us that pooh-pooh look,like they were at a freakin country club or a polo match.Good thing that Dol-Fan guy sits near us with Big Poppa Pump or there would've been little or no enthusiasm.Miami fans need to show up,I agree with Defense also,it is disheartening to be outnumbered by jets fans at a "home game".
