Seriously, he not only looked poised moving around behind our line, Ricky looked explosive. He looks like he is faster than he was when he had the rushing title.
Pennington was solid pickup. I really see it working out for us this year. He also got open downfield and almost napped that long pass.

From my vantage point he played over three quarters ... two of which were back ups and guys who will be waiting tables in another week. His stats were 17 of 26 for 133 yards, 0 TD 0 INTs in over 3 quarters of play. There were obviously much better performances and I'm not trying to bash Henne but it seems to me that many people are finding reasons to crown him king when all he has done is not committed a turnover. He looked very determined to prove that he still belongs in the NFL. He's probably gonna go Hawaii or bust this year.
Honorable mention to Chad Pennington and Chad Henne. Looks like we've got a much better situation at QB than we've had in a long time. |
