Title: Parody movies Post by: raptorsfan29 on August 28, 2008, 07:59:09 pm anyone getting sick of these movies, the next one that makes fun of popular movies is disaster movie. Anyone going to bother to see it.
I decided that i am not going to watch it after i watched the movie trailer. A cow falling out of nowhere and falling of a guy in a transformer suit doesn't make much sense. I don't mind funny movies, but from what i saw in the trailer, it seems more stupid than funny. Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: Tepop84 on August 28, 2008, 08:07:06 pm I liked Scary Movie 1 and 2, but I thought the rest were stupid. I am almost getting sick of every college movie. OMG college, this is going to be the most awesome movie showing how great college is. All we do is party and fuck.
Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: Thundergod on August 29, 2008, 02:30:20 am I cannot STAND these movies. ANY of them. I LOVE comedies and really don't mind stupid funny movies, but jeez, these go above and beyond stupidity. I couldn't even get past 15 minutes the last time I tried watching one... ooooohhhhh...!
Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: Frimp on August 29, 2008, 03:05:12 am Meet the Spartans was the last one I saw, and it was friggin stupid.
I think the last great parody movie was Spaceballs. Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: fyo on August 29, 2008, 03:27:03 am I pretty much hate parody movies. Like Frimp, I did enjoy Spaceballs though.

Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: Frimp on August 29, 2008, 03:07:34 pm I did like the Scary Movie series, but they dont compare to Spaceballs.
Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: Denver_Bronco on August 29, 2008, 03:14:41 pm Actually a few weeks ago I watched the movie, "Superhero" and I got a kick out of it. There's a scene with a fake Barry Bonds where he is eating out of a bottle of steroids and foaming at the mouth. I was crying I was laughing so hard.

That movie is avalable on demand right now, so if I'm bored some night, I might get it. I watched Disaster Movie last night. Its an hour and 15 minutes of the stupidest and most boring attempt of a parody I've ever seen. It would have been under an hour if it weren't for several long song and dance routines and over done bits. The only funny character was a spoof of Juno named Junie...and they killed her off halfway through. It doesn't even show the disasters. You hear booms, and see an asteroid after it hits...and a pathetic looking tornado that shoots out cows. The first cow was kind of funny, but they did it 3 more times. I can't believe that a director even signed on for this peice of shit movie. If anybody else is interested in watching this movie, it's on Youtube. Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on March 12, 2009, 01:05:05 pm Best parody movie of all time:
Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood CLASSIC!!!!!! Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: Dave Gray on March 12, 2009, 01:40:44 pm Frimp, why did you watch the movie?
You admitted that they're bad, then you said that this one looked bad, too, and you still watched it. Why? Learn from your mistakes, man. Title: Re: Parody movies Post by: Frimp on March 12, 2009, 02:31:22 pm I was bored and it was on TV.
