With that said, how do they explain the Grigsby waiver. Can Cramer really be enough of an upgrade to make a change now, if he is an upgrade at all?

Bummer about Thomas...we need all the young players to stay as healthy as possible so they can develop on the field. At least they're saying it was an ankle injury. A sprained ankle is no reason to put someone on IR.

I'm not surprised that Boomer got cut, he's one a trick pony. He's good at Special Teams, but he sucks as a blocker, and couldn't catch the ball consistently. Reagan Mauia could open up running lanes, but he couldn't catch at all, and wasn't good on Special Teams. To be a FB in this regime, you've got to be proficient in all three areas. Whether Casey Cramer is the long term solution at FB, I have no idea. Time will tell.
