Title: Cameron/Sparano - What do you notice that is different
Post by: raptorsfan29 on September 28, 2008, 05:52:12 pm
What do you notice that is different between a Cameron coached team and a Sparano coached team?

conditioning, discipline, creativity, and execution

You can add respect for the coach to that also.

And the obvious...A convincing win less than a month into the season

Hes not dropping players in the middle of the season signaling a losing attitude and no one has told him to go fuckhimself on the plane ride home.

And when he leaves the state he's allowed back.

Talent? less injuries? about the same discipline actually....but it's improving each week...The first couple of games we seemed to still be making stupid penalties....
2008
Vs the Jets 4 for 59 yards,Vs AZ 6 for 42 yards,and against NE 5 for 35...

Early in 2007 the penatlies were just sick...

Sparano seems to be very confident and in control, which Cam never did. His body language (which is all us fans can see during a game) is calm but commanding, and the play has reflected that.

A warm and fuzzy attitude towards Sparano since we actually won a game before week 15.

The biggest difference I saw in the last game that I haven't seen in a very long time was Miami's aggressiveness. They didn't get a lead then played conservative, they attacked the Patriots and beat them into submission.

Less ranting from Tommy and not having to read "walking papers" 30 times a day.

Gotta admit.........Cam was a better dresser though. Whats with all those Tents Sparano wears? I think those Shirts he wears were designed to go over shoulder pads not 100 extra pounds of Fat.

Although this probably is more in the area of FO rather than coaching, it seems like management is taking the long-term view rather than going for quick fixes.

Sorry bud, just calling it as I see it. Remember the days when coaches wore a suit and tie on Game day?  Guys like Belichick wearing Cut off hoodies and Sparano's get up is just an obvious cover up because it sure ain't stylish.  But I guess as long as he brings us results he can wear a diaper with a giant pin for all I care....... ;D

There's something to be said for coaching in a suit.  Del Rio looked smart last year
