After all these years, it occurred to me that I have never posted an anti-Dave thread (or not one that I can remember).

So here goes - Dave, you suck. Your website sucks, is out of date, and no-one cares about Hootie & the Blowfish - hell even Hootie himself hates to be called "Hootie" (then if he hates it so much, why did he name his band "Hootie & the Blowfish"?)

How dare you invest your free-time into such a poorly stitched together site. Reprehensible.

^^^ He hates to be called Hootie because neither his name or his nickname is Hootie. That would be like use calling you Fred all the time. Wouldn't you hate that.

The only problem with your analogy this time around is that I don't have a band named Fred (out of ANY name, you pick the lamest one in the book. Dolt).

If I had a band called "Stupid Asshole and the Cronies", and if I were the frontman / lead singer, you better believe I expect to be called "Stupid Asshole". The band's name starts with "Hootie", the name "Hootie" is the nickname of the band, and the freaking guy is the lead singer, songwriter, and front-man. He is HOOTIE, and if he (or you) don't like it, tough plastic titty.

I hate to say this, but you have been called that without the band even existing.  >:D

Anyway, there was no Frankie in Frankie goes to Hollywood, no Jethro Tull in Jethro Tull, etc....

There really was a Jethro Tull, but he wasn't a member of the band. He was an inventor and scientist, and the band's manager stole the name back when they were changing the band's name about once every couple of weeks. Jethro Tull just happened to stick...

JTex is right though...if you front for a band called Hootie and the Blowfish, you need to expect people to call you Hootie, or you need to title the first release off of every new CD "MY NAME ISN'T HOOTIE, DAMMIT!!"

Sure it was on topic. the TDMMC name comes from a Hootie and the Blowfish song, and Dave on the home page says "Yeah, we feel ya, Hootie"

Hey, lay off Dave! He is trying to save the economy!

Didn't you guys read a few months back that he was optimizing his business because he forecasted Wall Street crashing. He had to reinvent himself and his product line as far as marketing.

Would you rather Dave create a "bailout plan" or put someone in the ROD. I think that he should consider putting a forum member in the ROD for being the most crappiest fan.

Maybe not having a ROD member added for 2 years is what caused the crash...and Dave not making sure it happened, and blaming Jim for it NOT happening shows that he is not a strong leader.  ;)

Dave is suspending the ROD campaign in order to focus on the economy.

So Dave can not muti task? A real web owner should be able to multi task, it's a very serious position. Plus Dave is too old to run this site.
