Way to get busted with a DUI, jerkoff. I am sure your Father is very proud of you now.

I have no tolerance for DUI's, but if no one is hurt I can give a person a second chance, especially if they are just one beer over the limit. However, with reoccurring cases, I lose all respect for that individual.

Thing about DUI's --- most people that never get popped for one aren't "good drivers" but flat out lucky.  Most people have had a bunch of times that they have a couple beers and go home...and those couple beers would have gotten you nailed. 

I don't excuse this from Joba what so ever, of course, but the only way to completely avoid the risk of DUI's is to never drink away from home and never go to dinners without someone else driving. 

If you are reading this and you've ever had "a few" and drove home...you just avoided getting yanked out of luck, not skill.

Alot of times its funny how celebs get arrested for "suspcion of DUI" and then they somehow get out of them.  I am suprised to hear that he actually got charged with DUI right off the rip. I'm sure that if there wasn't an open container in his car things would've been different.

That idiot Cedric Benson got out of a boating while intoxicated and a DWI in a matter of a month.

    Yankees star Joba Chamberlain downed vodka-and-sodas and caroused at a Nebraska strip club in the hours before he was busted for drunken driving, the Daily News has learned.

    The 23-year-old pitcher went drinking at a bar in downtown Lincoln and then capped off his Friday night at a local jiggle joint, where he got into a tiff with another customer over the rival Red Sox, witnesses said.

    Chamberlain - who had a blood-alcohol level more than 1-1/2 times Nebraska’s legal limit when he was nabbed - was heckled as he and friends watched the dancers at the Night Before Lounge, witnesses said.

    “Some guy yelled out, ‘If you played for the Red Sox, you wouldn’t be sitting here,’” clubgoer Gary (Bo) Bohaty said.

    Boston was knocked out of the playoffs Sunday night.

    “That got a rise out of him,” said Bohaty, owner of the Beacon Lounge, a bar next to the strip club. â€Oh, he left a big tip? Okay, all is forgiven  >:D

Actually, I am happy he tips very well, even if it was in a skank bar. At least it shows me he knows where he came from. Of course, doesn't nearly excuse a DUI. His blood alcohol in accordance to his weight meant he drank 8 drinks an hour. That is a lot. His friends should've shown better judgement too.

At least nobody was hurt.  If he got into a car crash and killed someone, it would be a different story.  Hopefully he'll wise up and not do this again, or next time he might hurt someone.
