Title: Its all too familar
Post by: tubba marxxx on November 03, 2008, 02:13:07 pm
Since 2003 (10 - 6 and missed the playoffs...somehow)....nothings really been expected out of miami (4 -12....9 - 7....6 - 10....and of course 1 - 15)....now that miami is back in the hunt with an "easy" schedule to close out the season....Do we go back to typical miami with another famous december collapse that was all too typical during the end of marino's career until now....

Dont get me wrong...ive been a miami fan since birth (1986).....and i am in no way bashing on my team...im just trying to be a realist and not get all my hopes up with 8 games left in the season.....thoughts?

I am happy with the improvement even if they don't win another game.  I don't expect them to make the playoffs this year.

For me, the key is not to get hopes up this year, because every win we get from here on the rest of the way is pure gravy. I'm hoping they can flip another 4-4 at us in the second half for an 8-8 season, come back with another solid draft and a few quality FA acquisitions, and look to the playoffs next season.
