Title: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: Defense54 on November 04, 2008, 02:06:57 pm http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/powerRankings?MSNHPHCP>1=39002
Ouch. -9 . >:D :-* Quote Could anyone ever predict a Mike Shanahan team rushing for just 14 yards in one game? Has his zone-blocking system jumped the shark? Meanwhile, former Broncos back Clinton Portis leads the NFL in rushing by a landslide for the Redskins. Miami however is up to #18 ...........up from #32 at the begining of the season. ;D Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Who cares about power rankings? I wouldn't relax too much. San Diego has been known to make late season charges. Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on November 04, 2008, 03:06:49 pm Got to agree with the Donkey fan here. Standing in the division is way more important than the Fox power rankings.

Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: Sunstroke on November 04, 2008, 04:39:41 pm I do think that San Diego will push the Broncos down the stretch, but I still think Denver will win enough games to make it into the dance. I'm not sure what they can do to dramatically improve their defense, but look out for a seriously studly sun devil named Ryan Torain to stabilize the offense and bring them back to a 30+ pt per week kind of team. 1st place in division!!!!!!!! Who cares about power rankings? (http://www.thedolphinsmakemecry.com/forums/avatars/dolphins_nohoop.jpg) That sure is a mighty fine logo you've got there... Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: Defense54 on November 04, 2008, 04:42:55 pm I'm not sure what they can do to dramatically improve their defense, They can start making those Ref payments again............... ::) Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: DolFan619 on November 04, 2008, 05:37:17 pm Denver is still on top of the AFC West. Falling in the Power Rankings is the least of Mike Shanahan's worries.
Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: bsmooth on November 04, 2008, 10:45:31 pm Yeah Miami would be in 1st in that division too with a whopping 4-4 record instead of the lowest in the East.
Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: MaineDolFan on November 05, 2008, 10:18:40 am ^^The Jets game still pisses me off. Miami could easily be 5-3 right now.
Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: Thundergod on November 05, 2008, 11:12:19 am ^^^ Houston. 6-2
Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: Defense54 on November 06, 2008, 09:47:38 am ^^The Jets game still pisses me off. Miami could easily be 5-3 right now. I try not to think about that. I would be fine with losing every other game as long as we beat the Jets in December. Thats my Superbowl. >:D Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: Defense54 on November 06, 2008, 09:58:14 am More proof that the Broncos are a bunch of Pussies:

Post by: ochizon on November 11, 2008, 08:47:08 am I find a comment they make about the dolphins strange:
"Looking for a sleeper team to emerge in the second half? Don't count out the Dolphins, who "earned" their favorable schedule thanks to last year's 1-15 atrocity. In their final eight games, Miami has games against each AFC East rival ..." They also had 3 games against the AFC East rivals in the FIRST 8 games, from which they earned a 2-1 record. Why is would 3 more games be considered a season killer? Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings........... Post by: Dave Gray on November 11, 2008, 10:43:21 am ^^ They're not saying it's a season killer. They're saying it's a good thing for the Dolphins, because it gives them a chance to catch up with their division directly (by beating them), rather than indirectly (winning other games and hoping their division loses).

DERRR! My reading skills could use improvement. I read "dont count ON the dolphins," which changes the meaning of the whole passage. Title: Re: Broncos fall Mightily in the Power Rankings...........
