If we lose tonight, I have to hear about how the Big Ten and Ohio State are overatted on every sports show for another year. It's maddening. I may have to take a break. Title: Re: Ohio State Post by: dolfan13 on January 06, 2009, 12:41:46 am being undefeated doesn't make you a national champion in ncaa fbs division football. there is no playoff tournament, only the bcs #1 vs #2 championship game. all the other bowl games don't mean squat, and are irrelevant.
best you can hope for is consolation voting from the ap poll, but with usc and texas winning, i would highly doubt ap will confirm anyone other than the bcs championship winner as its national champ.
