I want Arizona to win the NFC, and Pittsburgh to win the AFC

Then, I want Arizona to win the Super Bowl.

Well I'm cool with Arizona heading to the Super Bowl - means the Pats move up another draft pick :D

I would like to see the Ravens and Cards play each other in the SB.

Ravens and Cardinals.  Ravens and Eagles.  If Pittsburgh wins, Steelers and Eagles.  Cards are the oldest team in the league and have never been to a Super Bowl so that would be interesting.  Not really pulling for the Steelers because the multitude of friends I have that are fans...some of them are pretty bad. 

QFT. Brian and I were talking about this. McNabb has to be one of my favorite NFL players if for nothing else than he is a total class act (at least what we've seen, no one really knows what goes on behind closed doors)

Steelers.  If I see Bill Bidwell hoisting the Lombardi trophy, I might have to shoot myself in the head because I will know there is no God.

That would definitely chafe a lot of old school St Louis football fans...if the Cardinals win a Super Bowl.

I personally hope it happens exactly like that...but if I were a betting man, my money would go on Baltimore right now.

I was also saying that I really like McNabb, despite hating Philly.

I'm not sure that Philly winning a championship would really stick it to the fans, though.  I'd rather have them continue to lose, then have McNabb to leave and win somewhere else.

I have nothing against the Cards or the Ravens.
I don't really like Pitt or Philly, but I think they'd be the most entertaining matchup.

Just seeing Cardinals and Super Bowl in the same sentence made me throw up in my mouth a little.

I like the way the Ravens play ball.  I want to see them square off against the Cardinals.  The immovable object vs. the irresistable force.

I like when underdogs win things.

Honestly I don't understand why old St. Louis Cardinals fans would be pissed, it's been what, 21 years since they left? It's not like when the Browns left Cleveland for Baltimore and BAM they're winning a Super Bowl a few years later. That would suck. Besides (I know this doesn't apply to StL) but for me personally, it would have been redeemed with the Rams winning it all in '99 and contending in '01.

I'd love to see the Cardinals and Steelers. 

^ The Rams aren't my real mom and Bill Bidwell will burn in hell forever for holding us hostage and then moving the team anyway.  He voted against us getting an expansion team and tried to block the Rams moving here.  Oh yes, it's personal.

I hope either the Ravens or the Eagles make the SB (but not both) so I have someone to cheer against. Not that I really dislike either team, but I certainly like them less than the other two.

Obviously I am hoping to see he Cards win it all. I honestly don't know if that is possible but then again I did not think even if they made the NFC Championship game that they would be playing it in AZ to boot. I will be at the game although for all the jack I have been offered for my $85.00 ticket it was tempting to sell. We have waited a long time to have a game of this magnitude here and may not get the chance again for a long long time so I am going to go. Oh and I hate the Steelers with a passion so go Ravens!!!!!

I'd sell that ticket and go hang out at a bar during the day.  You'll walk out feeling much happier.... and probably still have a wad of cash in your pocket.

Good point.  Although I didn't say you were hurting for money.  IMO, hanging out at bars is more fun. 

My heart says I want the Eagles over the Ravens in the Super Bowl.

But my TDMMC Playoff Gridiron Challenge roster says the Cardinals over the Steelers.  :D

I love bars as much as the next guy but the Cards have never played in an NFC Championship game much less to have the game at home....I may not get this chance again. I think the Chrome Dome is going to be a fucking madhouse and that will make it more interesting than the regular season games. The wildcard round against Atlanta was the most fun I have ever had at a game because the crowd was so intense. I have a sneaking feeling this will be even crazier.  :)

Even after winning in 2004, I'll always have a burning hatred in my heart for the city of St. Louis after what they did to my Red Sox in the 70's.  How is that for rational??

I think it's funny,it's been a vogue pick to pick the cardinals the past few years as a playoff team,now everyone is surprised they're in the playoffs.... :D

I have no problems wth a Steelers,Eagles SB,Or a Cardinals,Ravens SB...The one I'd Least like to see is the Ravens team winning it....

The Rams did not originate in LA.
The Lakers did not originate in LA.
The Dodgers did not orginate in LA.
If Bidwell did not move the Cardinals and help block us getting an expasion team, we would not have to have stolen a team, which is the reason I am not a fan of theirs.

Yeah yeah everyone jump on that Cardinals bandwagon just like they did the Cubs.  >:D

I'd like to see the Cardinals defeat the Ravens in the Super Bowl. 

I consider the Rams to be more L.A.'s team than Cleveland's for two reasons:

1) Cleveland itself doesn't give a damn about the Rams; they identify with the Browns, who actually have a winning history (pre-merger) in the NFL
2) The Rams were in Cleveland for ~10 years and in L.A. for ~50

Rams moved to STL, I don't care for the Midwest, Dan Marino was my favorite non-Rams player and aqua was one of my favorite colors (at the time).

If the Dolphins moved to Omaha, I would drop them like a bag of dirt.  My favorite basketball team was stolen by OKC, and I'm currently holding out hopes for a new Sonics team (like the Browns deal).

Wow now I have seen more professed Sonics fans on a phins board than here in Washington.

Tough call.I would love to see Donovan Mcnabb get his trophy after all of the crap he has been through,and I really admire Brian Dawkins.And I wouldn't mind seeing a team that has never been there(Arizona)win it all.I have always kinda liked Pittsburgh,And I also would love to see anyone hand the Ravens ass to them in a sack!
