Title: Boldin=TO
Post by: Frimp on January 19, 2009, 02:10:43 pm

What a punk. I was interested in possibly getting him, but not after reading this.

No place for that kind of behavior on a team

The Giants would be perfect for him.

The difference is, Boldin is a star, Fitzgerald is a superstar.  Either way, this whiny shit should not be tolerated.  You wanna bitch about your contract, do it in the offseason.

The arguing with the offensive coordinator I can understand, but not running off the field instead of celebrating with your teammates. I mean, you're going to a SUPER BOWL for the first time ever for crying out loud!!!

I know the Cards need him to beat Pittsburgh. Either Boldin or Fitzgerald will have to be a decoy because one of them will be double covered. Damn, I wish the team could afford to bench his ass for the Super Bowl.

I can't condone this sort of behavior in any way, but to take a one time situation borne of frustration and compare it to T.O., who has spent an entire career screaming at coaches and QBs, holding impromptu driveway press conferences, trying to overdose on whatever the hell it was he gulped down and generally defining the term "locker room cancer"...is just ridiculous.

May as well compare Charles Manson's helter skelter spree to some guy who shoots another guy in a heated nightclub dispute. Sure, killing went down in both cases, but it wasn't the same kind of killing at all...

TO's issues started somewhere.  ;)

But seriously, if he is going to get mad and not celebrate going to the Super Bowl, he clearly doesn't know the meaning of the word 'team'. He is just getting started. There's no Anquan Boldin in Team.  ;)

TO's issues started somewhere.  ;)

Probably in his childhood...because they were already in there by the time he got to the NFL. What Boldin did was rash and stupid, and I bet he'd take it back in a second if given the opportunity. T.O. has no idea whatsoever that he's a mentally unbalanced sociopathic nightmare, and thinks that everyone else is fucked up instead.

Both are fruity....Boldin is a grape, Owens is a watermelon. ;)

Kind of hard for me to bash a guy that came back a couple of games after having his face crushed, but yeah, this is dumb.

At least he hasn't gone to the media?  That's the best silver lining I can come up with.

Why is it that every year, there's some stupid controversy heading into the Super Bowl?

Think its a conspiracy? When the 2 teams are decided, Goodell has a meeting with both teams, and they come up with the best ratings stunt?  ;D

Anyone heard interviews with this guy?  He's made his point / opinion about his contract and management very clear -- all the while saying he loved his teammates and was a Cardinal until he's not.

I'm bummed to see his frustrations have boiled over to effecting his teammates.  Not cool.

I'd take him in a heartbeat.

1 tempertantrum = 1000 tempertantriums

That must be the new math they are teaching in school.

You get trophies for participating too, which is good up until about 6th grade.

I would die for him to be in a Dolphin uniform.

BTW, what is with all the Boldin hate? This guy has had years of being a awesome teammate, and with one sideline argument with his coach (mind you Kurt Warner had a huge argument with the same guy earlier in the game and season).

ESPN and Sports Talk Radio = Entertainment Television/Extra

They sensationalize shit.
