Title: Let It Snow! Post by: janetmschulte on March 02, 2009, 02:27:41 pm Well we received several inches of snow here in NYC last night. For the first time in 5 years the public schools were closed due to snow! It's everywhere, and being a Floridian I LOVE it. It's so pretty and peaceful right now. I'm gonna enjoy it before it gets all muddy and filthy. ;D

We lived near a golf course in staten Island and always had a great place to go sledding.

55 inches? You're complaining about 55 inches?? Boston is a 90 minute drive from where I live. We're closing in on 100 inches for the season and there is another storm coming in this weekend. 5 inches in NYC and they shut down the state. That is a mere dusting! Title: Re: Let It Snow! Our "cold" weather is making me depressed. I hate wearing real clothes and shoes. I'm a tank top and flip flops type of girl.

Post by: bsfins on March 03, 2009, 12:24:58 pm The same storm hit us Friday night into Saturday,(we had Flurries all day Saturday) We got 3-4 inches,my sister got buried with just under a foot of snow...But it's all but gone now,and supposed to be near 70 by the end of the week....It's still cold,and I'm freezing my knackers off.... :D
