Title: Not a terrible start from Pedro for the Phillies... Post by: MaineDolFan on August 13, 2009, 01:18:50 pm I still don't know if moving Moyer to the pen was the right move. The guy is 76 years old, for God's sake. But Pedro had an okay debut last night for Philly against B's Cubbies. He went 5IP, gave up 3 ER on 7 hits. I think he walked one. Struck out five. Hit 93 on the gun a couple times. His FB still has some pretty decent bite to it.

He won't be any type of factor anyways come playoff time, unless they need long relief in a game they are losing 10-1 in the 3rd. And that's only IF he makes the playoff roster....
