Davonne Bess played well.  He gets mine.

Hartline and Bess continue to impress me.  Good luck next Year! Hopefully the Fins get That #1 WR to complement them.

I am kind of going to go with Thigpen.  I know he tossed a couple picks and most likley cost Miami the game...but had Pat White stayed in we would have never been within sniffing shot of winning in the first place.  I really like how the ball comes out of his hans.  He has a decent arm!

I'm giving my game ball to Jason Allen.  I don't know why he was on the field so much but he is a tackling machine.  This guy is so underrated, I wish he'd get more looks.

(Of course Bess deserves it but I think J-Allen needs some mention here)

I'm giving my Game Ball to Thigpen as well.  You can't expect your third stringer to win the game, but he came within a mule's breath of doing exactly that.

I think we have a good, young, solid backup in Thigpen who can challenge for a starting job next year if Henne regresses.

Thigpen and Jason Allen.

Its a mystery why Allen doesn't play more on defense. You can't blame him for that touchdown pass to Heath Miller because Big Ben had all kinds of time and could have walked into the end zone. Allen was caught in the middle of that.

I've been saying this all along. For Miami's offense, Thigpen is the better QB. I am not sold on Chad Henne. Thigpen gave the Dolphins fits last year in -20 degree weather in K.C. and almost beat them. He's a little bit of a maverick but that's what Miami needs.

That ball to Bess and the one to Fasano was beautiful and Tyler can run. The pass to Fasano was a play call that I had not seen from the Dolphins all year. Henne is a statue and can only roll right and throw the comeback to Camarillo. There were times this year that Henne could have ran for a first down with no one within five yards of him.

As far as leadership, the CBS cameras showed Thigpen pumping up the Dolphin o-line after Hartline's reverse and they responded. For a guy thats a third string emergency QB with no snaps or reps with the first team, despite the INT's, he did a helluva job.

Mark it down. We may have a QB controversy by the sixth game next year if Henne doesn't develop touch and quit locking on to receivers.

The Dolphins - or any NFL team for that matter - should never be "locked in" to a QB. there should always be QB competition, unless it's Peyton Manning or Tom Brady or the like. Chad Henne is a nobody, and neither is Tyler Thigpen. They should totally compete for the starting job next season and the person who is better, plays.

The sad part is that they keep forcing Pat White down our throats.  I am not as down on Henne as you are, but if Thigpen can push Henne to be better, I'm all for it.

Neither Peyton Manning nor Tom Brady were legendary after their first season as a starter...give Henne a break already.

While I can agree with the sentiment, Brady did indeed begin his legend after his first season. A relative nobody stepping in for an injured starter and then winning the Super Bowl.

I'm not sure who deserves the Game Ball... Bess certainly had a good game. I think our other receivers did too. For all of them, though, the turf was extremely slippery. I'm not sure what happened on that account. We had big problems with it on both sides of the ball and it cost us a touchdown on D (plus a slew of other plays on both O and D).

I want to give it to Thigpen, but he only threw the ball 8 times. He did show some very good pocket presence, though.

After weighing it, I'm gonna go with Bess.

Brady's supporting cast was much better than Henne's this year.

Henne is going to be a good QB if given the same tools as Brady was.
