Both the ILB's and OLB's coaches are now gone. Although it is definitely possible we are taking their loss for granted, it is hard to fault us for not seeing the fruits of their labor. In short, our linebacker play was nothing special the last two years. I guess I am having a difficult time telling whether our primary issues at linebacker are talent related our scheme related. Either way, the coaching wasn't enough to get them performing at a level that 3-4 linebackers need to perform at in the NFL. |
