Title: Proposition: A Stadium Nickname Post by: Dave Gray on January 25, 2010, 11:59:16 am With the name changing going on down at the stadium, what about a nickname? The Gators play at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, technically. It's printed on the tickets that way. ...but it's also called "The Swamp". Even if the official name changes to create a new revenue stream, the nickname won't.
