Four teams have been forced to cancel OTA days this year: Ravens, Raiders, Lions, and Jaguars. All because the intensity was too high, which is prohibited.

I don't recall this happening usually... are players just being more confrontational due to the CBA issue? (or did I just not notice all the other years?)

Whatever the cause, am I the only one who thinks this is just stupid? There's certainly an issue with players who have not agreed to / signed contracts yet, but with everyone else, why should there be limits? Don't teams have just as much incentive as players to keep injuries at a minimum?

I believe the Raiders had the same thing or something similar happen last year. I laughed at them because the players were copmplaining about intensity and yet they are one fo the worst teams in football. Looking back, I bet it was JaMarcus who did it.

You just haven't noticed.  It happens all the time, at least the part where players complain about it and the league talks to the teams about it, not sure how many OTA's have actually been cancelled in the passed.
