Title: Candidate for Tennessee Governor Post by: Brian Fein on August 04, 2010, 03:09:45 pm Basil Marceaux (dot com) is running for governor of Tennessee. He's very popular on the interwebs because of his raving intelligence and controversial stance on the issues.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hvaeHllwtw I am wondering - is this guy for real? I want to laugh if he is, but I feel bad because I don't know if there's something wrong with him. According to his Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basil_Marceaux), there is speculation that he was drunk. This video shows three of his "commercials" with translation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMCYAiSSnMk&feature=related So is this guy for real? Who would vote for him? I could be in the same position as him if I was from Tennessee and a publicity hound.
