Title: So which bubble guys make the team? Post by: Landshark on September 03, 2010, 02:20:42 pm OK it's the final cutdown weekend. All bubble players' lives are about to change, some for the better and some for the worse.
I think it's a little too close to call in some areas but Micah Johnson and Marlon Moore have locked up roster spots with their stellar preseason play. Title: Re: So which bubble guys make the team? Post by: Brian Fein on September 03, 2010, 02:25:32 pm I'm curious about the battle for #5 WR between Pat Turner and Roberto Wallace. Personally, I think Wallace has earned his spot, while Turner has done nothing but suck. In my mind, Marlon Moore has solidified the #4 spot.

Do you think Moore should handle return duties? Also, do you think Moore's play made Greg Camarillo expendable? Title: Re: So which bubble guys make the team? Absolutely. Not that Moore is going to be a better WR this year than Camarillo would have been, I don't believe that, but he's shown enough to want him on your team this year and see if he blossoms into something perhaps next year. You have 3 solid WR's on the team now in my opinion in Marshall, Hartline and Bess. Moore and Turner have enough potential to be on the 53 man roster although one or the other is probably not going to suit up much this year and it could be Turner again. I still think he's flashed enough to want him on the team and Wallace and/or Pruitt will make the practice squad. Title: Re: So which bubble guys make the team? But, I love Moore. To me he has close to Ted Ginn speed with better hands and isn't afraid to lay someone out. I hope we see a lot of him this season. He could easily be our deep threat. Title: Re: So which bubble guys make the team? Post by: mecadonzilla on September 03, 2010, 11:16:01 pm Man, it's just so nice not to have a Ted Ginn, Jr. in WR corps. >:D
But I will miss his flat out speed. Can't coach that. Anyone know the 40 times of Moore and Wallace? Pat Turner has no business on this roster the way he's played the last 2 seasons.
