.... Okay, so this is one of Sparano's boys from the Cowboys... A tackle... He has 0 regular season starts in 4 years. Started against the fins the other day in the final preseason game. Didn't notice him. Title: Re: Pat McQuistan traded to the dolphins...... Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on September 03, 2010, 05:49:59 pm Can I be the first to say: Who the F is Pat McQuistan? He was a cowboy thats all i know. Title: Re: Pat McQuistan traded to the dolphins...... Post by: mecadonzilla on September 03, 2010, 05:51:38 pm McQuistan has been a 3rd stringer for the Cowboys since he was drafted. The Cowboys have absolutely no talented depth at tackle, and this guy was still a 3rd stringer. I guess it's all about who you know.

Title: Re: Pat McQuistan traded to the dolphins...... Post by: Brian Fein on September 03, 2010, 08:36:24 pm It means in the future they might consider giving Dallas a draft pick. I'm sure there's some condition on whether he pans out or something.
Title: Re: Pat McQuistan traded to the dolphins...... Post by: fyo on September 04, 2010, 02:51:23 pm Why on earth would we TRADE for a guy like this? Sounds like a conditional 7th. Considering how little such a pick is worth, it seems like a good deal for both sides (assuming he was going to be cut by Dallas). Dallas are, worst case, no worse off, but they have a chance to recoup a pick for him if he plays and Miami get a player without having to risk the guy being picked off waivers for the price of 7th rounder IF he plays. And, let's face it, if he plays, he was worth a 7th rounder. |
