The Dolphins Make Me Cry.com - Forums

Obviously you know who I am rooting for.  And you can probably figure out I will be rooting for the Vikings and Packers this week as well.

But I am curious as to the Dolphin perspective on this game.

Logic says you should be rooting for the Jets.  A Jet win plus a Dolphin win would put the Fish in sole possession of first place in the AFCE.

My sense is while Dolphin fans hate both teams...most seem to hate the Jets more.  Rex Ryan's mouth and Jason Taylor seems to have only increased that.  And Dolphin hatred of the Patriots seems to have declined some from its peak leading into the 2007 superbowl. 

So I am curious about your thoughts on the game. 

I'm rooting for a tie and a few minor nagging injuries.  Is that wrong? :)

This is one of two weeks per season that I am a Patriots' fan.

LOL, don't worry, I won't.  Even if the Dolphins are 2-0 and the Jets are 0-2 next week I will be rooting for the Dolphins over the Jets.  Only once have I rooted for the Jets.  2008 final game of the season against the Dolphins.

I also hope the Pats win.  I hate the Jets more, but that's not why.  As a Dolphins fan, I'd rather just "get the Jets out of the way" as early as possible, and not make the division a 3 way race.

Gimme a Jets win.  The 1-1's can play catch up, I'd rather be in first.

I'm with T-God on this one...I'll be pulling for the Jets to bring NE back to the .500 mark. I won't be cheering for either...I can't bring myself to do that, but I'll be happier if they both come out of that game at 1-1.

Pencil me in with Thunder and 'Stroke, hoping for a Jets win. But make it an ugly, controversial one, please? And if someone gets ejected and suspended, that's fine too... not a fan of hoping others get hurt (but if someone absolutely has to get hurt, make it someone good and not too serious an injury.)

I hope Tom Brady throws for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns.

He's mine in another league, and I feel dirty for having him.  Anyways, I have to agree with Pappy on this one...a tie with some nagging injuries :D

I guess I'm pulling up a chair with Hoodie and rooting for the Patsies.  Can not root for the Jets no matter how hard I try. I'd rather see them lose then the Fins win.  :-\

It pains me to root for the Patsies but I must when the play the damn Jets!!!!!

Plus like Tek said a Jets implosion this early would be bliss!!!!!!

Considering we get the Jets next week and the Pats the week after that, if somehow Brady and Revis could get into a huge fist fight, punch each other repeatedly, and then each get suspended for at least 2 games, that would be PERFECT.

If the Jets win then all the annoying hype will be back. I want the Jets to get stomped every game. I say we take out their hearts early on..

 

I love Pats-Jets weeks :) It's one of 4 weeks a year that Brian and I are on the same side (the other being Fins-Jets of course)
