Title: What do you want from 2011 Post by: bsfins on January 01, 2011, 01:57:06 pm I give up trying to do New Years resolution threads...Too many people...I don't do resolutions...
So... What would you like to do this year? Maybe.....Get a Better Job,keep your job,get a promotion, finish school,go back to school, buy a new car, get a better house, sell a car, sell a house, finish a certain project, start a project, change something about yourself,do more of,do less of,cross off something off your bucket list, find love, get rid of a former love, someplace you want to go,whatever.... Mine.... 1.) Be more prepared for emergencies that will arise,Last year too many things came out of no where. 2.) Sell my 1971 GMC,I really don't need it,I love it,but don't have the time, energy, nor the money to keep it up,or fix it up. 3.) Complete 4 big 3d projects...Last year I had the Fender stratocaster,Isetta,Diner scene,Sports Legos..But had way too many that I started and couldn't complete 4.) Continually have smaller 3d projects to work on 5.) Continue to learn lighting,Lighting concepts, how lights react to other objects, etc, etc. 6.) More camping/float trips....I seem to be a much happier fat man when I do this often (Which sort of Conflicts with numbers 3-5) 7.) Continue to be more acceptive to myself, and people around me. 8.) Get a creative job,I don't know why I keep trying, too many obstacles, and some I'm not willing to do.... Title: Re: What do you want from 2011 Post by: MaineDolFan on January 03, 2011, 10:09:02 am Good health.
Everything falls into place when good health is in play. Title: Re: What do you want from 2011 Post by: raptorsfan29 on January 03, 2011, 01:44:18 pm - No more kidney stones would be a good starting point.
- Find a clear objective that i want to do with my life. - Also if i get no more stones, i want to go back to the gym and prepare for the military if i decide to go into it. - I'm a history nut so i want to expand my knowledge of history Title: Re: What do you want from 2011 Post by: StL FinFan on January 03, 2011, 02:00:55 pm I would like to have a regular paycheck, a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in my pantry.
I would also like for my family to be happy and healthy. Doesn't get much better...Title: Re: What do you want from 2011 Post by: SportsChick on January 04, 2011, 02:39:13 pm I only took one class - doesn't count
Title: Re: What do you want from 2011 Post by: JVides on January 07, 2011, 03:00:35 pm 1 - Health and happiness for the family. First, foremost, and the only thing I would ever pray for.
2 - Professional advancement / clarity. I'm at a stage where I could slug it out and see how far I can take the large firm career, or go my own way. I need to decide before I get old and lose the will to fight. 3 - Dough. Plain and simple. Life's ever more expensive, it seems. 4 - Learn to dance? I mean well. My wife loves to dance and never does anymore, because she knows I don't enjoy it. I don't enjoy it because I'm no good at it. I realize most guys aren't any good at it, but being the competitive fool that I am, I want to get it right, so dance classes it will be. 5 - I wouldn't mind going back to pick up a 4th language. My French has fallen into the abyss. Spanish and Portuguese are holding strong. Maybe I'll go back to French? Maybe Italian? Definitely a "romance" language, since my knowledge in the other two will hopefully flatten that learning curve. |
