Title: Hypothetical situation Post by: Frimp on January 21, 2011, 05:31:32 pm Lets say the Super Bowl is Green Bay and Pittsburgh, and Gene Steratore is the ref. Let's also say that a similar scenario that happened in Week 7 with the Dolphins and the Steelers happens in the Super Bowl and costs the Packers the game, what do you think the NFL does to Steratore if anything?

But the NFL would never publicly go against their officials. Its bad for the sport and the league, since the officials represent the league on the field and enforce the league's rules.
