Title: Moss wants back in NE Post by: Pats2006 on March 16, 2011, 09:31:38 pm "If you're asking me where my heart and where I'm happy is, I love playing with Tom Brady. I love being coached by Bill Belichick," Moss said Wednesday on KFAN 1130-AM in Minneapolis"
Would the pats even take him back? I think Bill would want him back but I think the owners had to many issues with his bs Title: Re: Moss wants back in NE Post by: Brian Fein on March 16, 2011, 09:50:26 pm He saw how terrible it is playing on teams that don't win every game, and saw that the Pats are just fine without him. He wants back in.
No surprise here. Title: Re: Moss wants back in NE Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on March 17, 2011, 01:08:08 pm Sure sign him to a two year deal.
He will come back behave. Put up pretty damn good numbers for a WR his age. Then after one year BB can trade him for a second round pick. Title: Re: Moss wants back in NE Post by: masterfins on March 17, 2011, 02:28:48 pm All comes down to money, the Pats aren't going to pay him big bucks, so it's a matter of whether he wants to take less money and play on a winner, or bounce around to a new team every year for the rest of his career.
Title: Re: Moss wants back in NE Post by: shamrock on March 27, 2011, 07:53:20 pm The Titans are on TV here during the season, and you wouldn't even know that Moss was on the team except for the pre game warm ups.I put that squarely on an inept coaching staff, though.I'm no Patriots fan,but you can't blame the guy for wanting to go back there.
Title: Re: Moss wants back in NE Post by: Dave Gray on March 28, 2011, 10:04:09 am The Pats know how to get the most out of that player. In NE, he contributes, stays out of trouble, etc. In other cities, he's unhappy. I get it.

I'm not sure why the complete dropoff in numbers happened this year, but it did start in NE. Title: Re: Moss wants back in NE Post by: DZA on March 28, 2011, 07:58:40 pm Why was he traded again ??? I thought he had it good up there. I saw the coming back to Minn situation turn ugly coming because Childress is an ass.

I saw the coming back to Minn situation turn ugly coming because Childress is an ass. My thought is there is a maturity issue with Moss and a get what you can attitude with Belichick. Moss came into NE very motivated. Did all the right things...got his long contract, became a star again and then "got comfortable" in NE expected the "star treatment" which BB wouldn't stand for. NE saw a chance to get a 3rd round pick for a player that would be an unrestricted free agent in 12 games who wasn't giving it his all and made the trade. Like with his banishment from Minn the first time and his time in purgatory known as Oakland, Moss got a wake up call, he wants back. Moss's first redemption tour in NE resulted in him breaking Rice's record, while I doubt he can do anything that amazing again. Moss being motivated to rehab his image could result in a very good player. |
