Title: What would you do?: Restaurant edition Post by: bsfins on March 30, 2011, 02:23:30 pm What would you do,one day you went in to eat at your favorite restaurant and....
You saw roach crawling across the your table,or a table next to yours? You saw a mouse/rat crawl across the floor? What if you saw dropping (mouse/rat/roach) on the floor by your table? You had hair in your food? Someone told you an employee spat in the food? How would you react? Would you eat there again? Modified to clarify a Question, changed "they" to an employee Sorry... Title: Re: What would you do?: Restaurant edition Post by: Sunstroke on March 30, 2011, 03:02:12 pm If someone told me they spat in my food, my reaction would be to backhand them hard enough to rattle their dental work. If I saw a roach/mouse/rat/cockroach/bug poop/anything else that totally disgusting. I would react much like Scooby Doo does when he sees a ghost. I'd scream, freak out, flip, run in place for a few seconds, and then zip out the door. Would I eat there again? No to all the scenarios listed above. Title: Re: What would you do?: Restaurant edition Post by: Dave Gray on March 30, 2011, 03:52:11 pm I have seen roaches (multiple times) at one place I go to all the time. We laugh about it now and call it "The Roach Hut". ...but I still eat there.

True story time. When I was a child my parents and I were on vacation at Williamsburg, VA. We were easting at some sort of pancake house and I was having pancakes. I just happend to cut my pancake in the perfect spot to see a fly cooked inside the badder (a fraction of an inch would have meant I ate the fly because I would not have seen it). I'll never forget when the waitress offered to bring me more pancakes. :o Title: Re: What would you do?: Restaurant edition Post by: bsfins on March 30, 2011, 07:25:48 pm For me it depended on how good the food was...The hair is the hardest for me to get over...If it was in my food,I might not eat that food for 6 months without thinking about it... :P
Title: Re: What would you do?: Restaurant edition Post by: masterfins on March 30, 2011, 07:44:59 pm I could get past the strand of hair, no big deal in my opinion. But the other things, I would get up walk out and never return unless a new owner cleaned house.

WWWHHHHAATTT??That's insane! Title: Re: What would you do?: Restaurant edition Post by: Dave Gray on March 31, 2011, 10:42:55 am Yeah. It didn't hurt her. She felt something hard and pulled it out and it was a razor -- lucky she didn't get cut. We called the manager and they investigated. It was part of the chopping device that they use to dice tomatoes and it broke off and got mixed in with the diced tomatoes. They were pretty appalled and comped the nachos (obviously). Since there was no mal-intent or what I considered negligence, plus the fact that nobody got hurt, I let it go.
Title: Re: What would you do?: Restaurant edition Post by: bsfins on March 31, 2011, 10:53:55 am ^^ That one tops my Brother who pulled pieces of buck shot out of his burger from Wendy's... :o That's what he swore it was...
My Brother's was one of the worst thing I'd personally known something foreign in their food. (I've never known anyone who's found like severed body parts..) I kept wondering how she even got it in her mouth. I should have known better though since we were discussing restaurants.
