She violated the protection order by living in the house she was supposed to be 500ft away from while Brandon was out of town. Brandon comes home back to town, they get into it and get into an argument...she gets arrested.

Brandon really needs to upgrade the people he has around him in his life. DIVORCING  this nut-bag ASAP would be a giant first step. 

Oh and Adam Schefter said today on ESPN because of the never ending "Brandon Marshall drama"....the Fins are now considering Plaxico Burress as a fall back option. He also said the Rams and Jets are two other likely landing spots.

This of course a couple days after the Fins told the Miami newspapers they have zero interest in Plax. Which might have been a smokescreen.

This has got to be tough for both of them.  They obviously have some sort of fear of leaving one another, or Brandon is concerned that the divorce is going to cost him big.

This is when outsiders need to step up instead of stand off.  Brandon needs someone with some sense (not an agenda) to get him to see things more clearly.  It is clear that things have gotten out of hand and she is out of control.  It is time for him to go.

My guess is Brandon realizes he has some maturity issues and finds fault in himself for part of the discourse.  What he evidently doesn't understand is that it is never ok to be violent in a marriage.  Once he got stabbed, he should have moved to divorce.  Even if he provoked her, it is not ok.

For the love of God man, get out NOW!  Work on yourself and re-approach your relationship status when you know who you are, what you need, what you want and how to be sure you don't get scammed by manipulators. (As if he is listening  ::)) 

This woman is going to tear him down.  Behind every great man is a great woman (mostly).  But there are many men who would be great if it weren't for the women in their lives.  So much talent is at risk here and it is very sad. 

Well I still don't give Brandon a free pass in this. His resume speaks for itself and now its being done to him and its just insane.. After reading this story yesterday 2 things immediatly come to mind...

1) One of these days we are gonna wake up and read Marshall was shot to death by this woman. It seems like that is where this is leading. He beats her. She stabs him. She then moves into his house when he isn't there breaking protective orders. You can see this coming a mile away how this story will end.

2) The Dolphins MUST get rid of Marshall and move on. This guy is bad news. He was bad news in Denver. He is bad news in Miami. And its never ending with him. It just never stops. Blame her, blame him....doesn't matter at this point, its beyond the "blame game". With his resume of stuff and now this newest drama, its always something with Brandon. He wasn't even that good a player last year, time to cut all ties and move on.

Your lack of faith in Marshall is not unwarranted, but...

I still disagree with this part.  So far, Brandon hasn't done anything wrong, that we are aware of, since being with the Dolphins.  If his performance declines, then absolutely get rid of him.  For all we know, Brandon is maturing and his spouse is lagging behind (not uncommon). 

I realize your concerns over Marshall being a liability because we never know when something may go wrong and then we are all the sudden screwed.  But lets face it, there are lots of liabilities out there and professional sports has no shortage of them.

My understanding is his contract is structured so that off field issues don't hurt us financially (at least not much).  So all we are really worried about (as a team) is that his roster spot could be vacated without an adequate replacement.  I say he is worth it.  He is younger, stronger, faster and simply more talented than any receiver we could hope to replace him with in the short term.  Just as importantly, the guy seems highly motivated to perform at his best even with a large contract under his belt.

If you don't like him... Well, that is a personal issue.  There will always be a player or two that rubs (some) fans the wrong way.  I think there is enough positive with this guy to accept the question marks from his past.  He is saying all the right things at this point and although bad things are happening to him it doesn't seem that he is doing bad things.  Just not enough to send him packing and still lots of signs that he may redeem his past behavior.

1) He dropped a ton of easy balls last year

2) He got multiple DUMB 15 yard penalty's that hurt us in key spots

3) His off the field issues haven't gone away. Him...Her...doesn't matter at this point. He is a walking time bomb when it comes to off the field stuff and that hasnt' changed since his days in Denver

Once the lockout ends, Miami has a 30 day window. If we cut him, the Fins owe him nothing. On day 31, the Fins are on the HOOK for millions of dollars and tied up with him for a few years. And his "drama" isn't ending. Time to show him the door.

And that isn't personal. That is just facing reality and looking at what is happening with this guy. Performance on the field is slipping, hurting the team with "diva" and "me-first" penalties, and the never ending off the field drama. 3 strikes and he should be out!!

1 - Not really.  He did have several easy drops in pre-season, but that doesn't count.  Otherwise, I can only really think of one particular foul up.

2 - I think he had 2.  The one where he tossed the ball to Cutler was silly, but you can see how the intentions may have been less than malicious.  The other was overreaction and a legit bust.

Point is, he was our receiving work horse last year.  Its not his fault that we had him running stupid routes with no chance to run after the catch.  The few bad things you brought up aren't quite as bad as your language indicates.

Your memory is poor, he dropped many balls in the regular season.

MikeO, to clarify, are you saying that Marshall's drop percentage was:

a) significantly higher than the NFL average
b) slightly higher than the NFL average
c) around the NFL average
d) slightly lower than the NFL average

I don't have time for your silly games. That's how YOU and a couple others ruin these perfectly good threads that are talking football. By bringing them into the gutter to have a pissing match with me over nonsense.  Have whatever opinion you want. Nobody said you had to agree with me

Well, if you had answered the question, the next logical step would be to look at the statistics and see whether your opinion is based in fact.

However, given your hostile reply, it seems obvious that you have not based your opinion on objective facts (otherwise you would have simply answered the question), and have simply decided that you don't like him.

Maybe the facts support your claim.  Maybe they don't.  The fact that you responded negatively to the mere mention of the facts suggests that you believe that they may not.

Why don't you do the research and let me know if the facts do or don't back up my statment then since you seem to care so friggin much about what i think  ::)

So essentially, you have just confirmed that you did not arrive at your current opinion by objectively analyzing the facts, but just by How You Feel about Marshall.

If you honestly think that Your Feelings are supposed to convince other people that You Are Right, then great.  If not, then you shouldn't be surprised if someone asks you to back up your opinion with supporting evidence.

(And please, don't try to play the "I don't care what other people think!" card; if that were true, you would not be posting your opinions to an internet message board.)

What watching every snap of every game doesn't count? I need to do a research paper before putting up a message board post.
