(With news source) Post by: Landshark on July 25, 2011, 10:46:18 am Turns out Michael Vick put it on Twitter that he would be "honored to have Brett Favre as a backup". Apparently the Eagles are interested in bringing him in. Let's see if the feeling is mutual. It wouldn't surprise me if Favre gave it another go. It can get awfully lonely sitting on that tractor in Kiln, MS.

Think about it. After months of labor unrest and a lockout, what better way to get people talking about football. I think ESPN and the NFL love this kind of crap because of the buzz (positive and negative) it generates. It wouldn't surprise me a bit that they are ones spreading the rumors. I'm not one to wish injury or illness on anyone, but I wish something would make everyone just let this thing die. Maybe after he doesn't play this year (there is a 0% chance of him playing by the way) we won't hear it next year.
