It's hard to believe he [Ronnie Brown] couldn't find a place that would offer more money and more carries than he is likely to get with the Eagles. In fact, the Miami Herald reported that the Chargers, Ravens and Rams all wanted Brown, and that Brown took less money to come to the Eagles. Ronnie would be the starting back for 3/4 of the season. He's missed 12 games in 7 years. The only year he hasn't gone over 1000 yards is his rookie year, and he's had 2600 rushing yards the last two years.
