The Dolphins Make Me Cry.com - Forums

This is one of the few times I'm glad the Dolphins are playing on Monday night....I went watch pregame on the Dish, and after about 30 seconds...It froze,it locked up the reciever...I turned it on turned it off....I finally got it to respond, I changed to like USA network, TNT, (a basic,non premium channel) they were black...I un plugged it,let it set for 2 minutes it reboot....Same thing...I reactivated it online through Direct Tv website...Same thing....I called up Direct T.V.....They handheld me through the same process,Same thing...Then said oops...Yeah we just got a message that we're experiencing technical problems on your type of receiver,then offered me 3 months of free showtime...(I was going to swtich next month for Dexter) She kept telling me, Don't watch the game mix channel,don't watch the red zone channel...I said it's all the NFL Sunday ticket channels,I was trying to get pregame...Not the Game mix,or redzone channels....I have an HR-21? HD receiver with no DVR.....

Direct.Tv. .com is down right now... >:(  This is the first real problem I've had with Direct Tv,unlike my friends that have local cable....but it comes at the worst time...IMO...

Luckily I've still got all my normal channels....

Anyone else have problem?

Update....
According to the Forums on Directtv.com (now that they're back) Is tune into the game,and push the Exit button repeatedly,don't let the player tracker/scoreboard pop up.....Still don't use game mix,or redzone channel....Still sucks though....

I'm not having a problem with it.  Do you subscribe or are you just getting the free preview?

Never had one iota of trouble with Sunday Ticket.  Just hope it never rains on a Sunday.  :P

I'm happy to hear that no one else has had this problem...I just have shitty luck....I had a few family and friends over to watch the Bears game,they were pretty pissed they missed most of the game.(till after I found the work around)....I think if this happened and I missed the Dolphins I'd have gone bat shit crazy on the poor Direct Tv rep... :-[ Hopefully they'll have it fixed by next week....

This is just one reason why I won't use satellite TV while I have cable available. My box does need a reboot (but that is my fault as I haven't replaced the old ass thing in 11 years). Other than needing to update my box, I seldom have issues. A Florida thunder boomer cutting out football would suck.

I rarely lose my signal and when I do, the electricity tends to go out also.
