Title: Sparano postgame response
Post by: miamid45 on September 18, 2011, 10:00:29 pm
“It’s baffling to me,” Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said, via Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald. “It really is. I don’t have any answers for it. We’ve got to do a better job.” NBC Sports

When the HC is baffled, doesn't the team usually follow?

doesn't matter at this point. He knows he is fired. He knew back in January if he didn't win he was fired.

If he makes excuses people would get on him. If he starts giving coach speak people will get on him. I give him credit for essentially saying nothing. He knows he is a man on death row at this point, anything he says will just fall on deaf ears. So, I will give the guy a break

He's baffled because he thought he was being hired to coach a football team.  Instead he's got an owner bent on mediocrity who turned a flagship franchise into a sideshow.

ross isnt the one who brought in a piece of shit in ireland. ross didnt hire a stupid offensive line coach in sparano to run the team.  ross got swindled by the fat useless pos runa parcells.  sparano is too stupid to be a head coach. which is probably why he is in love with henne who is too stupid to be an nfl qb.

He'd better find some answers for Cleveland or I'm betting he doesn't make the trip to San Diego!

I don't know how you can put all the blame on the owner.

In Ross's defence, he purchased a team with no experience with running a pro sports franchise.  Entrenched in this mess, was our buddy Parcell's, along with all of his Dallas castoffs.  Changes needed to be made before last season, but were vetoed by Mr. Knowitall and I'll bail on you when things don't work out.

Ross tried to get Harbaugh, but already the franchise was smeared and the rest is history.
