Title: 2011 MVP
Post by: tubba marxxx on October 06, 2011, 04:20:51 pm
Is it possible to give the MVP award to a player that hasn't played at all in a season?

Because Peyton Manning is clearly the Most Valuable Player to the Colts.

No doubt...it really puts Peyton's value into perspective.

I make the following statement with absolutely zero disrespect to Tom Brady, who I regard as a truly great QB:  If Peyton Manning had spent his entire career with Bill Belichick as his head coach, Scott Pioli picking the talent around him, and Robert Kraft as his owner, Peyton would have rings on every single finger, and maybe one or both of his thumbs.

As far as this season goes...the award is Aaron Rodgers' to lose, imo. He's the top dog, on the defending champs, and he's lighting motherfuckers up again this year as the Pack keep rolling.

He kinda has too.  His defense is giving up over 300 yards passing a game and has been giving up loads of points.  Great year to have him in your fantasy league for sure!

I watched ESPN talking about the Colts, and how bad they are. Even Peyton would have a hard time winning with how bad that defense is playing.

Can't see him playing this season...no need.
