Hey guys,

A lot of people have asked me over the years if I make money off of this site.

I don't.

Because people come to the site regularly, I'm able to sell links on the homepage.  It's a small monthly amount, but over a year, it adds up.  I've used that money for different things over the years, from helping cover admin costs, to comping T-shirts, to a few other things.  And one of those things is donating to charities in the name of all of us, including you, since your visits make the advertising possile.  I normally don't mention it, but I think that this is a good cause that you should know about.

It's a bike ride to raise money for Cancer research.  Tom Eddie was a webmaster that I met on several occassions through Dolphins functions.  He died a couple of years ago and the Dolphins have done a lot to help his memory live on, including naming the "website of the year" award after him.  The Phin fansites have decided to donate to Tom Eddie's team for this challenge, as he was one of us.

I donated a small amount.  If you are fortunate enough to be able to do the same, think about it.
