I'm even more surprised now that they won 31-3 on the road in light of this event. This usually is a locker-room killer - teams don't usually come out and win with stuff like this happening.

...unless Vontae Davis has been the locker-room cancer killing this team from within, and his absence (even from the team plane) helps.

Who wants to volunteer to have Marshall throw a football at their face??  Maybe that was all Marshall needed to be able to catch a TD pass.

I'm not. I think maybe it was needed. Sounds like Marshall was just blowing off a bit of steam. Sounds like Vontae didn't appreciate Marshall blowing off a little steam in his direction. Sounds like a few others broke it up.

Stuff like this happens, especially when you are 0-7. It's not that it happened that is cause for alarm, it's how it's dealt with. In 2007, Cam didn't handle things well as things went from bad to worse. You got to give Tony credit that at least he seems to be handling things pretty well, but sometimes you don't find out about these things till after the season is over so no one really knows for sure.

The win on the other hand is a good indication that the altercation wasn't carried over onto the field. Like I said half heartedly in another thread, I'm hoping that Marshall throws a football at Vontae's head every week. LOL
