Title: Mayock on Tannehill and Fins Post by: MikeO on April 11, 2012, 07:09:11 pm http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-mayock-dolphins-tannehill-rose-20120411,0,6743469.story
Good read. The audio is up at WQAM.com if you want to listen to it right out of his mouth. Says if you feel Tannehill is the guy do what ever it takes to get him. If you listen to the audio he says he doesn't have Coples in the Top 50 of his top 100 players. And says Ingram is a good player but you can't just line him up and expect him to produce you gotta treat him special and use him right or else his short arms will fail him on this level. Mel Kiper put out is OVERRATED/UNDERRATED list. He has Tannehill is overrated. And Coples he has as overrated. With Mayock not having Coples in his Top 50 of his Top 100 and he as Mayock said..." Coples scares the hell out of him after watching the game tapes."and now Kiper saying he is a middle of the 1st round player, he is on a free-fall. It wasn't that long ago he was considered the #1 overall defensive player in the draft. This kid is sinking like a stone! At this rate we can grab him in round 2 maybe! I think he will go in Rd 1 still but all the "experts" and "analysts" have soured on this kid. Terrible work ethic. Took plays off last year. And his biggest games were against the worst teams UNC played. He did literally nothing vs good teams. He completely disappeared. Title: Re: Mayock on Tannehill and Fins Post by: masterfins on April 15, 2012, 03:46:06 pm IF he has a terrible work ethic in college, it will only get exponential worse once he is in the NFL and getting paid big bucks.

John Gruden with Ryan Tannehill Good video Title: Re: Mayock on Tannehill and Fins Post by: el diablo on April 18, 2012, 07:43:03 pm Brings up an interesting idea. If Couples' stock is dropping, do you risk trading down to (let's say 15th) with the possibility of picking up another 2nd rd pick? Couples or Ingram at 15th. Weedon and a WR in the 2nd. Sorry, I'm not a Tannehill guy.

Sorry, I'm not a Tannehill guy. Weeden won't get past Cleveland twice (at 22 and 37) and fall to Miami in Rd 2. If Miami wants Weeden they need to get into the bottom half of Rd 1 by trading future picks or trade down to 15-18 range and take him there I am a Tannehill and Weeden guy, so I would be happy with either |
