Title: Game Balls vs Raiders
Post by: Landshark on September 16, 2012, 04:13:22 pm
It's pretty obvious.  Reggie Bush gets my game ball for putting up Pro Bowl like numbers.

Honorable Mentions go to Brian Hartline, Ryan Tannehill, and Lamar Miller.

+1 - Reggie bush deserves more credit than he gets.

Tannehill?  Did I hear correctly?   Many wanted his head last week.

The kid showed his worth today and will take some more lumps, but if we can surround him with more weapons...then look out!

Bush obviously. The whole team deserves one for probably best win in years.

Gotta give one each for O and D.

O. Bush, but a very close 2nd was Hartline, esp. considering he has been hurt all pre-season. Hellofa effort.

D. Soliai, hands down.

Turd award goes to Chris Clemons and Nolan Carroll. Naanee is not even eligible. He is beyond turd!

Went to the game, the place was electric after Reggie broke those runs. What a nice change of pace for once. Game Ball: Reginald Bush

The offensive line. They kept Tanny upright for the most part and opened huge wholes for the backs. Once the sun came out in the third quarter and the humidity went up to 500% the o-line took over the game.

My honorable mention goes to the defense that held them to 22 yards rushing or something. Sure they gave up some passing yards but only 13 points. one of the biggest factors of this game is that they didn't fold when our offense was busy going 3 and outs. The held it together until the offense got it going again.

^^^ I don't know about giving the o-line the game ball since Ryan was running for his life a lot, didn't have much time, and was almost killed on a few plays.

Good job on run blocking, the pass blocking is a concern.

The pass blocking is a mess because Long is playing hurt and I'm really not all that thrilled with Martin on the right side.  I will concede that it's only his second start though.

Game ball:  One for Reggie Bush for blowing the game wide open on back to back TD runs.

One for Brian Hartline who I told you before is a massive upgrade over Legadoo NaneeNotGoingToCatchAnything.

Reggie Bush.  He was great.

But props to many others: Special Team coach -- fired up and getting the most from the team.  O-Coordinator -- getting TDs instead of FGs.  Tannehill + O-line: No batted balls.  Hartline -- really stepping it up and making plays when needed.

And Philbin -- no mistakes.  Just good football.
