I am hoping that Alabama beats Georgia so that it will be an Alabama/Notre Dame title game.

Let it be known that I hate Notre Dame and I actually like Nick Saban (I am confession bear: Know Your Memes).

But it would be the closest thing that most Dolphins Fans will ever come to the rapture: Saban, the man they think of as the devil, playing against the country's most notable religious institution in a battle here on Earth.

And I'm guessing that Alabama will absolutely pound them.  ...but that's why they play the games.

I'm so ready for a playoff.

I hope Saban dies a painful, rape filled death.  As a Gator fan, it hurts to do so, but I'm rooting for Georgia. 

That said, Georgia doesn't stand much of a chance.  Notre Dame is going to need help from a higher power to win that National Championship game.

My preseason hope was for LSU to make it to the Championship, just so I could listen to the announcers say "Barkevious Mingo" a bunch of times. Since that shit obviously didn't pan out, I hope anyone but Notre Dame wins...

Why does everyone seem to hate Notre Dame? I don't really follow college football but I've always kind of rooted for them.

I'm also hoping for Alabama vs Notre Dame.  What a storied game that will be.  I'm sure the ghosts of Paul "Bear" Bryant and Ara Parsegian will have fifty yard line seats.

I'm with Dave on the Saban thing. I guess I developed quite a bit of respect for him over the web weekend when he was in Miami. He just gives off a true leadership vibe. It's easy to see how he could make guys want to run through walls for him.  I can't say that about many people.

I wasn't pissed when he left. I was disappointed. 

It wouldn't kill me to see Georgia win it all either but I'm hoping for a big Alabama victory over the Irish.

I won't even watch Notre Dame versus Alabama. I cannot think  of two teams that I have any interest in watching (Appalachian State versus VMI would be more interesting to me).
