Dave's post about teams you hate the most gave me pause that I also have a hatred for announcers/sports writers.

Brent Musberger.  The way he pumps certain players. 
Cris Collinsworth.  He has some WTF moments and when I look at him, my hands are naturally inclined to want to strangle him.
Chris Berman.  Can't stand his mouth.  What used to be cute (the rock and roll nicknames) just got annoying. 
Robin Roberts.  She hasn't done a game in awhile, but I had no clue why the hell she was there in the first place.
Dick Vitale.  Another one whose gimmick time has long past, yet he's still allowed on our tv screens.
Skip Bayless.  I think it's a miracle he finds his way out of the house in the morning. 
Mike Greenberg.  Just get on your knees and suck every Jets player's dick already.  Why you have a radio show is beyond me.
Keith Jackson.  On my shitlist because he used to openly root against Notre Dame.
Steve Tasker.  I've had to put up with his sorry shit since he was a player. 
Paul Maguire.  PUT THE BEER DOWN.  YOU WERE A KICKER FOR CHRIST SAKES. 

I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of now.

Bob Costas-  When I watch sports, I want to hear sports talk, not a bunch of touchy-feely junk.

Stephen A. Smith- Whoever gave this guy the credentials to be a sportscaster should have his head examined.

Lou Holtz- Time to retire, old man.

Jim Rome - Classless and unfunny.
Joe Theisman - Sucks at his job.  I feel like I get dumber when he's in the booth.

Skip Bayless -- I don't really hate Bayless.  I find him to just be a professional troll.  I do get a lot of entertainment from him, though, just because he says such stupid stuff.

I am sure there are a lot more but I can't get much past Chris Collinsworth....

I love love love Cowherd.  He's one of the only guys on the radio that makes any sense about anything.  When people are too high on a team, he backs off a little.  When they're too low, he gives a little more credit.  He reminds me of me, in terms of my sports opinions.  He's very sensible and doesn't seem to be as reactionary as the rest.

^^^^I respect your opinion on him but I have heard him be so wishy washy with certain players he lost all credibility with me. I used to listen to him daily but I couldn't take it anymore!!!!

My only beef with Cowherd is that he only really talks about the mindless national stories, which include the Yankees/Sox, Tebow, New York sports, Lakers, Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, etc.

Announcers/analysts who routinely butcher the English language... Guys like Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson, Emmitt Smith, Shaq Fu...I have to hit the mute button when they start talking, or my ears start bleeding. At least 50% of the NBA announcers are 100% hot garbage.

Merril Hoge and his whiny little snivel-voice grates on my nerves. Craig James falls in this subgroup as well.

Mike Greenberg: openly friend to the enemy.

Evan Cohen (Evan & Phillips in the Morning): most of his arguments, have no point. Open Patriots fan. Imagine Greenberg as a Patriots fan.

However the play by play guy is for the Yankees.

Sorry, I have to disagree with BigDaddy. I've always loved Keith Jackson. When did a game when I was growing up, it was a BIG GAME. Loved the way he said, "The University of Miami."

Mike Greenberg - I'm not a violent person, but if I could reach through the Tv I'd punch him in the mouth he is so annoying.

Chris Berman - His schtick has been OLD for over ten years now.

Dave Gray and Az, hit my mainstream guys...I typically avoid the mothership,unless I'm watching a game,So most of them are avoidable.(Collinsworth being on NBc,semi avoidable)

Mine are Dan Mclaughlin,and Al Hrabosky,I have to see them when the Cardinals play the Cubs.Takes Homerism to the next level...

My biggest pet peeve,is the misinformed comments,botched names,spouted with confidence by game of the week announcers.Fox announcers trying to talk about AFC teams they never call a game,and don't know shit about...There were a couple of humdingers last week calling the Dolphins game...

This is my problem with the 2 clowns that do the Thursday Night Football games (who I forgot to mention earlier) on the NFL network. They botch more names generally talk out of their ass more than any of the other football broadcasts. I know one of them is Mike Mayock (sp?) and I can't remember the other morons name. It is almost unbearable to listen to and many times I mute the TV. Come on NFL this is your flagship station and you can't find a better crew than this???

^^^ as a twist of irony I'm stuck with an extra weekly dose of Mayock as he does the Notre Dame games and yes, he is a complete dumbass.

I don't understand where all the hate for Joe Buck came from. 

But I would love to lock Marv Albert and Tim McCarver into a port-a-potty and set it on fire.
