Title: Brian Heartline or Larry Fitzgerald
Post by: Pats2006 on December 16, 2012, 08:27:30 am
Ok I need a little help here.. Who should I start? Heartline (vs JAC) is projected to score 8.02 and Fitzgerald 9.17 (vs DET). My problem is that Fitzgerald has sucked this year. I am leaning towards Heartline vs one of the worst teams in football. Thinking that he will have a good game today. what do you guys think? (this is not my TDMMC team)

While Fitz is definitely 10x the WR as Hartline I would start Hartline today without a second thought.   Unless he is throwing to himself he will most likely continue to stink it up.

Yea this is what I was leaning towards.. and Bess is out so Hartline will get more catches today.

Tough to start Fitz with his QB being so bad

Are you kidding me? It didn't break any rules, it's not trolling, and RT's numbers are just as bad as anyone on Arizona. How can you make the claim that one starting QB is so bad you can't start his receiver, when the other is just as awful? Personal feelings for anyone aside, they're numbers are equally bad! Lighten up and learn to take a joke. -EK

Went with Heartline.. just a quick stat for all of you Heartline has out scored Fitzgerald in fantasy points this season thus far.. Hope he has a huge game today

I tried to tell you! Lol! Fitz is Fitz, no matter who is throwing him the ball. Hartline is a very nice player but he's no Larry Fitzgerald. -EK

I gotta agree here.  To beat the Cardinals, you have to stop Fitzgerald.  The defensive backs who can do that are few and far between.  If I'm the Dolphins, I sign Mike Wallace in free agency and offer their two third rounders for Fitzgerald.  That would technically make the Brandon Marshall trade turn into Fitzgerald.  And that would instantly upgrade the receiver corps.

And Hartline just caught a bomb by Tanny.  Anyone care to change their minds??

Looks like he'll finish with 7 points if you're in a standard league....let's see if Larry can top that.... Nice overall showing by Hartline, given that he was held without a catch until after half time. -EK

7 points is more than Fitz has had in his last 3 weeks combined.  There's no reason to play Fitz at all right now.

Fitz is doing nothing. Only 22 yards on 4 catches.  Still a quarter left though

Yeah I got the Wilson over Romo call right, but appear to have whiffed this one. -EK
