Title: NHL Free Agency begins in 1 hour Post by: Brian Fein on July 05, 2013, 11:00:27 am I know no one cares about hockey here, but I thought maybe I would start a thread about NHL free agency.
Big news this morning is that Alfredsson informed Ottawa that he won't be returning. Sucks for them. I bet he signs with the Bruins. I'm most interested to see where Stephen Weiss lands. He has been the heart and soul of the Panthers for 10 years and has played in 45% of the franchise's total games. To see him in another sweater next year would be tragic, but he is asking for $6 million coming off a season-ending wrist injury. I don't think he'll get it. When his price comes down, maybe he will be back in the Panthers' price range.
