Personally I would have chosen some other movies, maybe some newer ones, but I guess it comes down to licensing and stuff.

Not sure why the hell they would play Iron Man 3 three times instead of Iron Man 1 and 2.

No Daredevil? No Watchmen?

Booooooo!!

I don't get Encore.

Daredevil? Now that's a movie I've never being requested before.  ;D I do, however, agree that Watchmen needs to be included.

^^^ I agree that the movie wasn't the greatest of the comic films, but the actual comic itself, and the main character, Matt Murdock, were among my favorite Marvel creations when I was growing up.

I'm glad to see people that like watchmen. I f'ing love that movie and I see it take crap on the Internet.  I think it is one of the best superhero films ever made.  ...prob in my top 5.

Amen to that...every time I saw some wannabe-critic pan it online, I thought "what movie were you watching?" Watchmen was awesome, and had a lot more depth than the vast majority of superhero movies.

Favorite line from Watchmen was when Rorschach was in prison, and he screamed "None of you seem to understand. I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with ME!!"

Watchmen was an excellent adaptation of the original graphic novel.  I've not actually met an comic fan who didn't at least "like" it.  I think the haters were mostly internet tough guys and hipsters who didn't want to enjoy it simply because it was adapted into a movie.  I understand a lot of people were butt hurt that it was, but Zach Snyder did a very good job of staying true to the source material while still allowing the movie to still stand on its own merit.  That movie nailed The Comedian and Rorschach perfectly.

I know Alan Moore claimed he would never watch it when the film was released, but if he had seen it, I think he would have approved.  If nothing else, The Watchmen was far superior to the rest of his comics that were raped and cranked out by Hollywood (League of Extraordinary Gentleman, From Hell, Constantine, V for Vendetta).

Loosely related, but I also want to sing the praises of Dredd.  It came out last year on a shoestring budget.  It's not an amazing film, but it's really good for what it ISN'T.  It doesn't try to create some layered character or some forced love interest.  It's like a throwback to 80s action....vibes of Robocop, kinda.  Just a bad-ass dude whippin' the ass of punks that really have it coming.

Anyway, if you get a chance to watch it, do.

^^^ Are you talking about the one from 2012 with Karl Urban?  That was a very cool movie. I am a pretty huge Urban fan though. I seem to like most of the movies/TV shows he's involved with.

Also, props to Urban for not making himself more important than the character.  No attempt to take off the helmet to show his face.  Acting with a pissed off face the entire time.  Good for him.

^^^ Have you checked out Urban's new TV show, Almost Human? I swear, the chemistry he has with his "synthetic" partner is worth the watch by itself, but there's also some excellent plot lines and some majorly bitchin' future tech special effects.

I loved it. I think the movie and Urban brilliantly captured what the original Judge Dredd was about.

I concur. Baffled by this as well.

I would have left a few of those movies off the list, ::cough:: Batman and Robin ::cough:: Batman Forever ::hack:: ::wheeze::

And Good call on Watchmen and Dredd. Loved 'em. Like Dave said, props to Urban on not removing the helmet, thought that was one of the coolest moves. Unlike the underwhelming Spawn "film". Let's show your burnt face 90% of the movie...
