The Spear Plant is cool, but it just doesn't seem classic or important enough. I love FSU but the spear really doesn't measure up outside of fans. The 7th inning stretch is irreplaceable in baseball. Take me out to the ball game!

That guy could not sing for shit. He made me want to commit Harakiri.

The Cubs did it a step better by having an old geiser sing out of tune. Since then, they have had celebrity guest performances. I remember Mike Ditka did it once. Its is a big deal in baseball, and an even bigger deal in Wrigley Field.
