Title: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:14:37 pm The Packers just rammed it right down the Dolphins' throats
Awesome Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:24:14 pm The defense looks horrible
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:25:49 pm this is a disaster, or maybe the Packers are really good
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:28:35 pm Nice sack.
However, it looks like every possession will be critical in this game Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:31:49 pm blocked punt and now decision time here
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 01:32:22 pm That was one of the worst play calls I have ever seen on 4th and Goal. I am dead serious. Other than taking a knee, I am hard pressed to find a worse play call. Jesus Christ.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:32:30 pm I think you gotta take points there
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: mecadonzilla on October 12, 2014, 01:33:58 pm What a poor play call on 4th down.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:34:32 pm Can you all recommend me as the offensive coordinator?
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: mecadonzilla on October 12, 2014, 01:35:12 pm When they lined up, everyone in the stadium knew what was going to happen.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:35:58 pm I think you need the field goal there. Take the points, especially when you've been denied three times in a row
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: mecadonzilla on October 12, 2014, 01:37:32 pm I think you need the field goal there. Take the points, especially when you've been denied three times in a row I like the idea of them going for it to set a tone in the game, however, have a planned audible or don't call a dumbass play like that. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 01:38:36 pm 2 weeks to prepare for this game with 3 valuable starters returning.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 01:50:47 pm Turnover
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: mecadonzilla on October 12, 2014, 01:51:00 pm 2 weeks to prepare for this game with 3 valuable starters returning. Just imagine how much more ugly this would be without two weeks to prepare (and with starters returning.) Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 01:51:32 pm I am starting to come around on the "Time to draft a QB in 2015" debate. He has just taken too many steps backwards this season.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 02:02:32 pm anyway, another drive goes right down the sewer pipe
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 02:10:32 pm Green Bay has the worst rush defense in the NFL and one of the worst pass defenses. They are now the 85 Bears. With 2 weeks to prepare for this game.
I think we all could've accepted 34-27 because of Rodgers, but losing a defensive battle? Aside from the opening TD, Green Bay hasn't done anything except that gimme turnover in our own end. We are going to lose a defensive battle to the Packers? Just drop a nuke. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 02:18:12 pm What a disaster

Pouncey is getting abused. He's not ready to play yet. its clear Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 02:19:34 pm He has a lot of the insider stats going for him, meaning if you deeply analyze the game and count drops and pass protection and lack of running and all that, he was pretty solid. Not great, but solid. Keep in mind, he led the league in sacks the past 2 seasons combined and it wasn't all that close.
This year though, the O-Line has improved as has the rushing game, but he is much worse in terms of accuracy and decision making. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 02:23:20 pm There is still hope for a miracle, though it is a small one
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 02:24:59 pm Run the effing clock out
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 02:27:22 pm I think we are going to see Matt Moore start the 3rd for Miami. Not that he is Peyton Manning, but Tanny has shown that he is Geno Smith today and he should take an early shower.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 02:28:08 pm I think we are going to see Matt Moore start the 3rd for Miami. Not that he is Peyton Manning, but Tanny has shown that he is Geno Smith today and he should take an early shower. Not gonna happen. Keep dreaming people Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 02:28:35 pm If you told me we would've held Aaron Rodgers to just 7 points(not counting the FG because the pick was in our own zone and they didn't move the ball)in the first half, I would've assumed a 20-7 lead at the minimum.
So, no matter what, kudos to the defense for their 1st half play. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 02:32:57 pm Not gonna happen. Keep dreaming people Why not? He was taken out already this season for Moore and Philbin didn't even commit to him until the whole world told him to for the Oakland game. 8/16 84 Yards 2 INT 26.0 QBR Just to reiterate, the Packers are TERRIBLE defensively. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 02:33:18 pm I would not mind seeing Matt Moore in the second half
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 02:37:07 pm I would not mind seeing Matt Moore in the second half With a lackluster Pouncey and no Brandon Albert....won't matter who the QB is this week. Pack pass rush will abuse that o-line Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: mecadonzilla on October 12, 2014, 02:41:24 pm Is Albert officially out for the second half?
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 02:43:49 pm FYI---Coyle and Philbin got in a yelling shoving match before halftime walking to the locker-room according to some reports at the stadium. Not sure if true or if being over-blown
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 02:45:36 pm Coyle's defense has played well, so either Philbin is dumber than we all thought, or Coyle is mad at him for his shitty coaching.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 02:46:15 pm Coyle's defense has played well, so either Philbin is dumber than we all thought, or Coyle is mad at him for his shitty coaching. apparently it was over Philbin punting there at the end of the half. Not sure if we will ever know but not a good sign Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 02:46:53 pm Albert is going to tough it out. He is back out there
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 02:52:23 pm Everyone can calm down now ::)
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 03:10:10 pm Yeah, calm down, the Dolphins are back to sucking.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 03:11:03 pm Yeah, calm down, the Dolphins are back to sucking. I wasn't talking about them winning I was talking about the bench the QB, draft a new QB talk ::) Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 03:15:13 pm Why? Because of one running and one passing play? It was a great play call and athleticism by Tanny and a great catch on a fade. He doesn't deserve an extension because of that. Now they are losing again because why wouldn't the defense fail us now? Let's see him do it again.

You guys overreact to a bad quarter or half...works both ways! ::) Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 03:27:56 pm It's not a bad quarter or half, it's a bad decade. This team is not allotted the benefit of the doubt like the Pats or Broncos would get because they don't deserve it.
Wow, that was an awful throw by Tanny off the Packers helmet. Thank God he didn't turn around. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 03:30:08 pm It's not a bad quarter or half, it's a bad decade. Thank God he didn't turn around. It wasn't an awful throw he was hit while he threw it. Tannehill hasn't been on the Fins for a decade. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: Fau Teixeira on October 12, 2014, 03:43:03 pm tannehill is playing pretty well right now
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 03:46:55 pm Tannehill in the 2nd half...10 of 11 with 2 TD's for 132 yards.
Yeah let's bench him for Moore and start scouting QB's to draft next year ::) Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: Tenshot13 on October 12, 2014, 03:47:03 pm I can name at least 3 pathetic Dolphins fans on this site from this thread alone.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: Tenshot13 on October 12, 2014, 03:48:30 pm Tannehill in the 2nd half...10 of 11 with 2 TD's for 132 yards. overreaction are a funny thing huhYeah let's bench him for Moore and start scouting QB's to draft next year ::) Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 03:53:35 pm Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: Cathal on October 12, 2014, 03:56:11 pm I haven't been able to watch the game but with 4 minutes left, can they run the time out? Are they doing that effectively?
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 03:58:37 pm I haven't been able to watch the game but with 4 minutes left, can they run the time out? Are they doing that effectively? they got 1 first down....now a penalty gave them another Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 04:16:54 pm Tough one to lose
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: Spider-Dan on October 12, 2014, 04:19:42 pm Total coaching implosion.
Call two timeouts on defense when the offense is reeling. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: MikeO on October 12, 2014, 04:22:06 pm Total coaching implosion. Call two timeouts on defense when the offense is reeling. Agree. Plus the Fins final drive they didn't run the ball enough. Why were they passing Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: Stinger24 on October 12, 2014, 04:23:25 pm So tired of this coaching staff.
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: masterfins on October 12, 2014, 04:40:34 pm Packers out of timeouts, Miami calls a timeout with 2:15 on the clock, while punting on 4th down. Then GB has a 4th and ten, and Miami calls a TO to give them time to setup an offensive play, after which they get a first down. Then GB on the 4 yd line, with 6 seconds and Miami calls a TO again to let GB setup yet another offensive play, and a TD to win the game. Just brilliant!!
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: Cathal on October 12, 2014, 04:42:01 pm Well, I guess we couldn't run the ball. So glad I didn't invest too much time into the game.

Funny you say that cause the commentators on the radio all said it was the right move to get your pass rushers time to breathe. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: dolphins4life on October 12, 2014, 04:43:54 pm What the fuck was with the defense letting them convert that fourth and ten
Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: DZA on October 12, 2014, 06:44:20 pm ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
Give Aaron Rodgers a chance to win the game , and he took it. Title: Re: Game Log - Packers Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 12, 2014, 06:49:10 pm Wheeler took half the blame for giving up the winning TD, but he put the other half on bad playcalling.
Please, just fire everyone tomorrow. Lazor has been good, keep him. Give everyone else the boot, the players are openly blaming the coaching. That doesn't ever lead to a turnaround. |
