Wonder what new way Miami will find to lose this game

Flawless TD drive on the second possession.

Yep, this forum is depressing as hell to read during a game.

Defense makes a big stop on that possession

Good first quarter, but can they keep it up the whole game?

Title: Re: Live Blog at Bears
Post by: dolphins4life on October 19, 2014, 01:39:49 pm
That's a game changer right there.

Seriously if they had a kicker like ghostowski I wonder how good they would be

Title: Re: Live Blog at Bears
Post by: mecadonzilla on October 19, 2014, 01:43:34 pm
Yeah, it's pretty easy to kick 50 yarders in Chicago.  No one misses those.

What was horrible was the sack preceding that play.

Bears stole the momentum

Tannehill is looking good.

Whole team says they were more relaxed this week than ever, they probably realized that they are on their own and are essentially Ronin since their Master is an imbecile.

Bears stole the momentum
Then Jones just stole it back.

Tanny is 10/10 with 2 TD's now. Nice job.

Title: Re: Live Blog at Bears

Tannehill looks great and so does the defense but there is still lots of football left to be played

Title: Re: Live Blog at Bears
Post by: dolphins4life on October 19, 2014, 02:09:00 pm
well that was a missed opportunity.

That could prove costly later in the game

First possession of the second half is going to be huge

The offense needs to respond.

Usually, we do well coming out of the half. This time, not so much.

It's the law of football

Miss chances in the first half, it comes back to bite you in the second half

Yep. He should have thrown a hail mary from the 40 yard line with 5 seconds left. Either  TD or a Pass interference. Worst that happens is its an INT and its the half.  Why punt? If its blocked the Bears can run it back easily

Bummer on the missed oportunity,  but MIA is still in good shape and CHI has a long way to go.

Nice response by the offense, but a penalty takes away a touchdown

Even in victory, they make you sweat. Really wish we would've went for it on 4th and 1 or even ran it on 3rd and 1. Worst case scenario, it's still a 2 score game and the Bears have to go 99 yards.

two minute warning.

Now in the red zone.

Title: Re: Live Blog at Bears

Dolphins win. Judging by the empty seats, I guess their fans didn't think a TD pass in the red zone and an onside kick was possible.

Game over bro. Now go make a game ball thread before the clock hits zero to make up for all your early shame of the game threads.

Big Win! Got that split between the GB and Chicago back to back weeks. Should have been a sweep but oh well, take the split and move on

Title: Re: Live Blog at Bears

It would be nice to be able to sit on a three possession game going into the 4th and feel like the game is in the bag. I swear, this team makes you think that isn't enough to win.  ;D

Very good win, though. Too bad they couldn't finish off the Packers like the Bears, but that's how it goes.

And that same GB team that needed a last second TD to win last week are killing the mighty Panthers 38-10. And no trolls were to be found this day.

That's cool. At the end of the day, Carolina will still be tied for first place in their division, and Miami still wouldn't make the playoffs. Another .500 year for you guys with a poor draft to show for it. Btw, how in the world did Carolina go 12-4 and draft Kelvin Benjamin, and Miami has a top ten draft pick every year and still has such poor talent? :)

Well hi!

I should apologize. I totally misspoke- Carolina won't be tied for first place with New Orleans, they'll be alone in first.

You Phins enjoy the win. It must have been impressive looking at the box score. Should be over .500 next week with Jacksonville on the schedule.

Sorry Bro....your team sucks!  Wasted year last year...what did you guys do?   Who remembers...lol.

Would take our squad in a hear beat over yours!  No pash rush...no running backs...oh wait..yah you have those two overpaid long term cap killing guys in Williams and Stewart.  Keep your. Benjamin.  Like Landry a lot!

We make playoffs this year...you guys don't!

Unreal. You can still be an asshole and be so wrong about everything. Miami picked 19th this year (not Top 10!) Just saying

Wow. Someone got his Jimmie rustled. Any fan of a team with cap killing overpaid Wallace shouldn't throw the Williams and Stewart stone. Funny that you'd mention keeping Benjamin, since, well, you know...he's having a better year than Wallace or Landry, and he's a rookie.  No pass rush? Coming into today, Miami had a whopping ONE more sack than Carolina. But you'll make the playoffs...sure...all you have to do is leap 2 out of Houston, Buffalo, Cincinnati or Denver. Good luck with that. You're effectively in 3rd place in your division, lol.

Enjoy the big win. No need to get all worked up.

Everyone else, enjoy the quality win. By the look of the box score it was pretty dominant.

Apparently the Bears locker-room was one big fight after today's game. Players and coaches yelling at each other and guys needing to be separated.

Then Kyle Long to the media after the game went after the fans....Kyle Long blames fans for not making enough noise on 3rd down defensive plays, and says they can't boo.  This is quite a day for the Bears

Title: Re: Live Blog at Bears

Brandon Marshall with a locker-room meltdown after the game had to be restrained....lol

Some things never change.

Asked specifically if he was yelling at Robbie Gould, Brandon Marshall said: "That’s a team matter. This has nothing to do with you. ...

yep...he's cured! LOL
